Chapter 8: Zafirah

Zeus's POV (Eman)

She's my sister but... Aish! Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko sakanya. She do things on her own. She decide things without thinking its consequences. That brat girl. She never listens to anyone!

What should I do to her?!

"Thinking something?" Biglang sabi sabay kapit sa braso ko ni Honey, my co-TL. She was once my crying shoulder and a special person whom I can run to but ever since that Dark came, she's just nothing but a co-worker. Hindi pabkami magkaayos ngayon but here she is, trying to win me back?

Maharas kong tinanggal ang kamay niya na ikinagulat niya. Gulat ka? Sana inisip mo yan bago mo ko tinalikuran. I glared at her. "Stop pretending and just go back," I coldly said to her.

Tinalikuran ko siya at magsisimula na sanang maglakad palayo nang bigla siyang magsalita. "We've been partners for 2 years, why are you doing this to me? You're the only person who understand my position right now, you know that right? Hindi mo naman ako iiwan dahil lang sa dilim na yun diba? I told you didn't I? He's just an ex. He's in the past. Bakit ba hindi mo ako magawang paniwalaan?" And then I heard her crying. Nilingon ko siya and look straight in her crying eyes.

"You told me this before, actions reflect your feelings, isn't that true?" Huminga ako ng malalim bago nagpatuloy. "Bakit kita hindi magawang paniwalaan?... You want to know?" Nilapitan ko siya hanggang sa ilang centimeter nalang ang layo ng mukha namin sa isa't isa. "Its because of your actions, of course. You said before, you'll get over him and heck, I helped you with that. You promised me to just show him that he's nothing but a trash to you. Pero mukhang nirecycle mo. I just don't get it, Honey. You're a Team Leader pero mas pinili mong puntahan siya kaysa tulungan kami. Will that answer your question?"

Inis akong umalis doon. I never imagined that I can say such things to her before. Whatever. She and Dark is not important right now. Elisha is the most priority in this situation. I need to find her first. Bahala na kung anong susunod kong gagawin. Her safety comes first.

I was supposed to enter the elevator when I saw her get out in the fire exit. Since nahanap ko na siya, susundan ko nalang. Gusto ko na ring umalis dito. Pakiramdam ko ang sikip sikip, hindi ako makahinga.

I followed her until we reached BGC. Why is she here this early? Ang aga magwalwal ng babaeng toh. Tsk, kung hindi lang ako maluwag sa kanya baka manang na yan ngayon.

She's finding someone until she talk with a girl in her age who wore a vivid dress. Girls nowadays really don't know the word decent. She then accept a paper bag from her. Agad na pumuntang CR si El nang matanggap niya iyon. So I waited near the comfort room.

She then go out wearing an off-shoulder fitted dress. This girl! Aish, really! Pupuntahan ko na sana siya para sitahin when she start talking with the bartender.

"I'm meeting someone" she said in flirty voice.

"New guy, huh? I now wonder. How many days do your boys stayed with you?" Mapang-asar ang ngiti nito sarap bugbugin nung bibig niya.

"Atleast an hour. 5 hours is the longest" she confidently said. What a flirty sister. I heard a lot about her whereabouts when she's in a bar, but I never imagine she'll be this flirty.

So, I decided to just hid near her since I want to know who is she meeting with. Hindi rin naman nagtagal ay dumating ang isang lalaki at hinila siya paalis sa BGC.

I still follow them. I can't go near them pero base sa itsura nila, si Elisha ay nagrereklamo habang yung lalaki ay tahimik na masamng nakatingin sa kanya. Si El lang kasi ang nabuka ang bibig. But then pinagbuksan nung lalaki si El ng pintuan ng kanyang sasakyan. They're going somewhere, I predicted. That's why I enter my car as fast as I can and unfortunately, someone was here even before I get in.

"Sorry, sir pero kailangan ko talagang sundan yung sasakyang yun," she said at hinila ako pasok habang siya ay nagseatbelt na. Wow, she has guts.

Pero hindi ko na nagawang makapagsalita dahil umandar na paalis ang sasakyan nila El. Napapalingon ako sa babaeng nasa sasakyan ko ngayon at hindi pa rin makapaniwala dahil for the first time, may mapangahas na pumasok sa sasakyan ko. She's the first one who got in excluding me. Aish, if not for my sister hindi ko sana kasama tong babeng toh.

"Don't look at me like that, sir--" nahinto niya ang pagsasalita at napatitig sa akin. Haist, ang gwapo ko talaga. Napapatulala ng kagwapuhan ko ang mga babae ngayon. Kamalasan nga naman. Bakit ba kasi ang gwapo ko?

"Ikaw?! Hindi ba ikaw yung unggoy na nag-abot ng pera sa amin bilang award?! Gunggong ka! Bakit mo sinusundan si Triton ha?!" Nagulat ako sa ekspresyon niya makalipas ang ilang mintong pagtitig sa akin.

"Unggoy?! Am I an animal to you?! Ha! I'm too handsome to be a monkey. And oh! You're the one who insist in getting here and to follow that car!" I proudly said but she gave me a fake laugh with matching pagpalo sa binti niya. Err, bakit ba ako nagpapasok ng babeng baliw sa kotse ko? My poor Mesarati.

"Ha! Kung hindi ko lang kailangang kumpirmahin ang kalokohan ni Triton hinding hindi ako papasok sa bulok mong sasakyan noh! At ano? Gwapo ka?! In your dreams!" She shouted.

"Can you just please, shut up?!" Sinamaan niya labg ako ng tingin.

"You're not my dad to boss ne around, so I won't" I really want to kill this girl right now! She has guts to talk back to me eh? How dare her! I can't focus on driving that's why itinabi ko muna ang sasakyan ko. Good thing dahil huminto din muna saglit sila El.

"Get out," mahinhon kong sabi dito na hindi siya tinitignan at nakafocus sa panonood kay nila El sa loob. I zoom it in since I'm wearing my special eye gadget.

"I won't" napataas kilay ako sa sagot niya. Hindi naman makapal yung mukha niya ano?!

"And why is that? I'm the owner of this car, If you can't follow what I tell you to, you better get out. I'm really not in a good mood. Baka makapatay ako ng di-oras." I said while glaring at her. Napairap naman siya before looking at my eyes straight.

"Fine! I won't say anything! Just please, follow that car... Oh, oh, they're moving again." Napailing iling nalang ako at nagsimula na ulit magdrive. "Zafirah anyway, you?" Pagpapakilala niya sa sarili niya.

Saglit akong napasulyap sa kanya. She's now smiling, nawala ang nakakunot at magkadikit niyang kilay kanina. "Zeus" I said at mas binilisan ang maneho.
