"Tiffany, Joe! Come down here!" My dad yelled to the both of us from downstairs as usual. Both Joe and I rushed downstairs. We lean down from the railing to see my dad and Jim dressed up once again. "Hey dads what's up?" I asked intending on the dad part of my sentence being plural. They both smiled. "We're going out to a party tonight. Do you guys want to go out? I'll give you guys fifty dollars." My dad informed. Joe and I turned to each other. Obviously knowing what the answer is going to be. I need a night out only to still get my mind off the problems in my life.

"Yeah." I replied and we began to come down the stairs. My dad went into his wallet as we made it to the first floor of the house. He handed me the money and I placed it in my pocket. "Alright we're going to go. I will see you both later." He said and hugged me. Joe then joined shortly after, embracing the both of us. I really did want to cherish this moment because I found it very special.

We are enjoying a night walking around town. I am seeing a completely different side of Joe that I had never even known existed. He is in an extremely wild and eccentric mood. Yelling at the men who he had found attractive, even saying that their girlfriends don't love them. I was almost humiliated to even be standing right next to him. All stare at me and I only have the ability to blush. "Joe stop, you're embarrassing me." I informed.

He only laughed as he continued to check out the multiple guys that were crossing the street along with us. "Joe I'm serious, you have a boyfriend." I continued and we both laughed. "Oh yes, I forgot about him." He told me. I thought that he was being serious, that he forgot that he was in a relationship. Ricky is all the way in Mexico, but that does not give Joe an excuse to forget about him. Joe could sense that I was not taking this as a joke. He smiled. "I'm only kidding Tiffany." He said. I roll my eyes and playfully punch him due to being pissed off.

"How could I forget about the world's most sexiest man. I love him." Joe told me when opening the door to a jewelry store. I cross my arms as I enter the bright place. I am surrounded by the displays of rings, necklaces, bracelets and every article of jewelry one could have come to mind. I wonder what Joe's intentions are of us coming in here. Because I do not have the money to afford a ring for myself or him. But that is the place he immediately rushes to.

I follow him as he is eyeing the wedding bands. Most of them being black, and some being gold. Which I find odd since my dad wears a silver one on his left hand. I don't know exactly know why my dad and Jim wear wedding bands, they're not married. Commitment I guess? Love is fucking weird honestly. "Josephine, why are we looking at the rings?" I asked. He sighed, having his gaze on one particular one. It was black but had a series of diamonds surrounding it. It was very beautiful, but the price was one that only my father could possibly afford. Seventy five thousand dollars.

"First of all Tiffany, It's Joe. My name is Joe. And I'm just planning." Was all he had for an answer. I smirked and raised an eyebrow. There is more that he has on his mind. No wonder why he has a smile plastered on his face. "What type of planning?" I invaded and giggled. "This might sound absolutely crazy, but I think I'm going to marry Ricky." He revealed and blushed soon after those words slipped. I didn't know how to react. I have not even had the chance to think about marriage, I doubt anyone would want to spend the rest of their life with me anyway. The thought of being married horrifies me. Maybe it should due to my age.

"You're right, that is crazy." I said. He chuckled. "Not now obviously. Maybe after I graduate high school, and have my cosmetology career started. Also when Ricky's solo act takes off as well." He explained which did make more sense. He then shook slightly. "I don't know. It's just an idea." He told me and we started to walk out. He grabbed my hand has we escorted each other out the door of the store. "I think you should do what makes you happy." I said and Joe nodded agreeing with me.

We had to go towards a really dark alleyway in order to go back to my house. This route could be very dangerous, thought was the quickest way to get home. We stop that the crosswalk before we can be able to cross the street. I was beginning to develop anxiety just thinking about getting home safely.

"IS THIS THE BITCH, THAT TRIED TO STEAL YOUR MAN?!" Both Joe and I heard a feminine voice scream. It was very direct towards us due to being the only ones in the area. We turn around and I can only be at the maximum of annoyance when I see this girl. Rami's ex girlfriend Lucy, and about five of her friends that were all girls began to approach us. Me and Joe are only frozen, not knowing what to do. We would be cowards if we chose to run. They were then only a few feet away from us, we were basically having a standoff.

"Yeah that's her." Lucy replied, I did not even notice that she had an accent when I first met her. Probably because I was so focused on her being a bitch. I cross my arms and give her a glare. "What do you want?" I wondered. "Oh. I'll tell you what I want bitch! I want to beat your ass! You need to stay the hell away from my man! He doesn't want you!" She screamed and I only rolled my eyes. I find her to be so fucking obnoxious. "One, Rami and I are just friends. Also he's a nineteen year old community college student, and I'm a sophomore in high school! Two, the last time I checked he wasn't your man. He even told me the last straw for him was when you fucking bit him!" I ranted.

She charged towards me and I had already been prepared. She attempted to upper cut me, but I caught her hand just in time. I had had so much adrenaline rushing through me. I was overwhelmed that this was the first fight I have ever been in, and I am off to a great start. I had the capability to take her down to the concrete and then our fists began to fly. We were both landing punches equally and I have to admit we had both been doing a very good job. I felt a pull to my hair. I figured that if I was in a fight then the opponent would go for my hair considering that I happen to have a lot of it. It was another girl though, one of her friends attempting to jump in.

But that weight was taken off my head. I don't know exactly how but I cannot wonder how because I have to stay focused. I look down at my hand for a minute, and I am quickly grossed out. There was blood everywhere all over my hand to my elbow. "Ew! Fucking gross!" I screamed and jumped off her realizing that it was not my blood. Lucy had her hand covering her nose. "You ripped out my piercing you stupid bitch!" She revealed in an enraged tone. I could only laugh using my psychotic laughter tone, I get it from my father of course. "Oh I'm stupid!? Then maybe you shouldn't have decided to fight me!" I yelled back. Joe stood up and grabbed my arm. I am shocked to find out that he was the one to jump in and save me from the other girl.

"Come on Tiff let's get the hell out of here!" And he dragged me away. My dad could not see me like this, he would be so disappointed in me. Not even disappointed, angry. We sit in the living room of Joe's house. His mom helped us get cleaned up and even offered us ice. Which I am very glad that she did. Me and Joe are now only laughing about the situation, even high fiving each other for kicking their asses.

A knock comes to the door and I'm nervous to know who it is. "I'll go get it." Joe said and opened the door. His eyes grew wide when he saw my dad, Jim and Roger behind the door. Joe then smiled, not a full smile but a "holy fuck we're going to get our asses whooped" smile. "Oh would you look who's here! What a damn coincidence!" He yelled out enthusiastically then laughed. "Save it Joe!" My dad yelled and pushed him out of the way to get to me. My dad saw me sitting on the couch with a pack of frozen corn over my eye. "Tiffany Mary! Uncover your damn eye!" He ordered. I almost threw it off. He gasped. Here we fucking go. "What the hell Tiffany?! I told you to never get into fights! Even if they hit first, you fucking run! I can't believe you did this!" He screamed and I'm almost embarrassed.

It hurts to cry with my right eye. "Dad, I'm sorry." I apologized. He sighed. He turned to both me and Joe. "You two better not get into a fight again! Otherwise I'm sending both of your asses to a boarding school!" He informed and started to escort me out of Joe's home. "Wait, but you're not my father!" Joe said and smirked. "I am now!" My dad replied.
