"Bye Joe." I tell him while his arms are wrapped around me. I have never been separated from my best friend for this long. He could hear my voice cracking and knew what that meant. "Don't cry. I don't want you to be upset." He pleaded. "I'm just going to miss you so much." I tell him and still do not want to let him go. "Gurl I'm only going to be gone for two weeks, I'll be back before you know it." He tries to calm me down and it works because he's right. If hours can go by quickly than so can days. He lets go of me and grabs the two bags with all of his clothes and equipment in there. "Come on Joe it's time to go we have a plane to catch." My dad told him and held the front door for him.

"Bye Tiffany I love you." Joe told me and started heading out the door. I wave replying to what he says. "I'll be back in about an hour." My dad told me and closed the door of our home. I walk into the living room and think about the decision of which couch of the two to sit on. I obviously have to sit on the one Rami is at because Ben is passed out drunk on the other one. Rami places his arm along the back of the couch once I took a seat next to him. I rested my head towards his stomach area as we were watching whatever show was on tv.

"So what do you think of London so far?" I'm starting conversation. "It's beautiful, not like anything that I have seen before." He replied and that is very true. "How long are you going to be here?" I ask. I'm sure that my dad will kick him out sooner or later. Meaning in possibly only a matter of hours. I don't worry about it and I'm on the verge of falling asleep when Rami is playing with my hair. "A couple of days, I leave on Saturday." He tells me. It's Wednesday at the moment. That's not long enough at all. I don't know how long I'm going to be here and it's my choice to leave whenever I want. "Don't go." I tell him and wrap my arms around his waist. I could hear him giggle in a soft tone. "I have to go, my love. I start my first semester in a couple of months." He said.

"That's in September. It's May right now. Just stay here." I reply. "Well, what do you plan on doing Tiffany?" He wondered. I don't know how to answer this question. I made the quick choice on what I want to do for a living at least for a little bit. Only within the last hour I knew what I wanted to do. But I'm nor sure of the location. "I would love to go back to America, but I feel like I have to stay here, just for a little bit." I tell him and the first person to come into my thoughts is my dad. I have to stay here for him. "Oh, do whatever you want. I have to go back, I can't miss an opportunity like Stanford." He told me and I understand. I have never known of a long distance relationship working. Hell I didn't hear from my dad for over a month.

"I love you." Is all I say to him. I had nothing else I wanted to say. "I love you more." He replied and turned the volume up on the tv from three to seven. It still had not been that loud since we considered that people decided to sleep here tonight. Regardless, here comes John Deacon storming down the stairs and I can tell that he is angry. I try to tell Rami to turn the volume down but he was confused as to why. Even with the volume at seven we could still hardly hear what was going on in the show we were watching. "What the fuck?!" My uncle screamed.

I separate from Rami and look up at John who was outraged. "What's wrong uncle John?" I already know what he's going to say. "The tv is too fucking loud!" He began. "But it's at seven." My boyfriend protested while sitting up. "Shut the hell up! Freddie doesn't like you so I don't either! The tv is just too loud! You guys might as well be blasting music! Or even having sex!" He ranted. Rami and I are both speechless. Do we apologize? Rami was right, it's not loud and we can't even hear it ourselves. How can John hear it all the way upstairs? "John darling, come upstairs! Leave the kids alone!" My aunt Veronica yelled from one of the guest rooms.

My uncle John glared at the two of us. "I have my eye on you two." Were his last words before exiting the living room. I check on Ben to see him still asleep rolled over on one side. "That was insane." Rami commented and shut off the tv. "I know and I'm sorry that my godfather is crazy." I apologize. He furrows his brows. "That man is your godfather? Meaning that if your dad left or you were forced out of his care that you would have to live with that mother fucker?" Rami wanted me to clarify. "Yes. I actually had to stay with him for a month while my parents were on their honeymoon." I answered. He sat normally next to me. "I want to know, but I don't at the same time." Now I am ready to tell him all of the crazy shit that my uncle John has done.
