"I heard that our teacher got fired." One girl said. "Oh, I wonder why?" Another one was shocked. "You know why. It was revealed that he was messing around with another student." The first girl says. I have only been in this school for an hour and I don't like it. Everyone in here is extremely bland. I have no interest in making any friends here. I want to keep to myself and stick with him. I hate it here. As much as I love my dads, they're idiots for sending me here. Joe is right next to me and he's the only one I can rely on here. "You're a bitch." Joe mouthed silently then gave me a warm smile. I rolled my eyes and faced forward. The room is silent as a woman walks in.

She's very young. Does not look a day over twenty. She can't be that young to be a teacher. I'm not sure if that's possible. I don't have time to figure this out, I have to finish high school. She writes something on the board. A name, Elise Beckham. "Good morning everyone." She says and her accent is different from the ones I have heard in this building. "Good morning." All twenty three of us reply in unison. "Let's discuss this name on the board. Elise Beckham. She had great potential to make history. She was from this area, the east end. She was a strong advocate for women's rights, underrated Oscar winning actress and excellent singer. The problem with Elise Beckham, is that she does not exist. This is how I wanted to exist, but when I was sixteen I realized that the teenage youth was more important than my filmography. And I'm not from England, I'm from Scotland. I'm your new English teacher." She explained. That was a very clever way of introducing herself. She was beautiful. Her blonde hair down to her shoulders like mine. I'm sure that the boys had noticed as well.

"Any questions before we get started?" Ms Beckham asked. A boy in the second row raised his hand. He was the jock type of student and I could tell. "Are you married?" The boy asked. He shouldn't ask that, it's none of his business really. The class laughed expecting and answer obviously. Ms Beckham smiled, trying to be polite but it's okay for her to get angry. "No actually, I am single. But relationships are not the point of this class." She answered. Another boy raised his hand. "Can I stay after class?" The boy asked. My teacher was now irritated. "No you cannot, now lets get started, open your books to page 375." She directs and we all get out our books. I'm surprised by how small the book is. The books in the United States were such a pain in the ass to take to and from school. It's only four hundred pages total. Versus my books in my school that have seven hundred pages each.

"Hey! Hey!" A girl whispered from behind me. It was very directed towards me. I just have to be sure that she is trying to get my attention. I turn around and a girl with the same hair as mine is staring at me. I raise my eyebrows, wondering what she wants. I'm open to talking to her. But I don't know if I want to make any knew friends, I'm not good at it. "I know who you are." She said. Doesn't everyone now? My dad was seen very clearly this morning. "That's nice." I tell her then face forward. Joe watched this entire sequence go down. "Hey Sarah, the whore of Babylon's daughter is right here." The girl said. I turned again. "What did you say?" I ask. "What? You know that it's true. How many people has your dad fucked?" She asked. "That's none of your business." I give her a simple answer. Two other girls are smirking at me and I'm assuming that they are her friends. "Oh there must have been many. I believe that he is very sick." The girl said. That really hurt, because I know that he is sick. I am not sure how bad it is.

If I ignore them, they would know the truth. If I lie, then I would have a better chance at protecting my dad. "My dad, sick? You sound stupid, him and I were at the gym the other day." I lied. I wasn't even at home the other day. Which is something that I really regret. I hurt my dad and I wouldn't be here if I just went back to bed. "She was probably a mistake from one of his hundreds of affairs." One of the three girls whispered. Which is also very wrong. Does the word idiot mean anything to her? My dad planned for me to come into this world since he was fifteen. But knew that he had to wait for a little bit. "Oh just shut up." Joe said to all three of them. Then he turned to me. "Tiff they're saying this to get a rise out of you, just ignore them." Joe told me and I listened to him. I faced forward, trying to pay attention to what our teacher was talking about.
