Happy Birthday!

Were back in Idaho and guess who's birthday it is.....MINE!!

I woke up to my whole family crowded on my bed singing happy birthday. It felt so good, to have a different environment on my birthday. "Happy birthday sissy!" Emmi exclaimed planting a kiss on my cheek. "Thank you guys." I smiled pulling them all into a big hug. "I want to give presents." Said Brock. "Later." Said mom. "Let the birthday girl get ready." They all hopped off my bed and out of my room.

I stretched and got out of my bed and went over to the conjoining bathroom to my room and brushed my hair, teeth and put deodorant and Sweet Pea Perfume on. Then I went to my dresser and could not decide what to wear. I finally decided on gene shorts and a white tank top and a light pink crop top. Then I went downstairs and saw that the whole living room and kitchen was decorated with balloons and streamers. The dining table was filled with presents and food. "Surprise!!" Everyone said in sync. My whole family was their.

"Do you like the decorations?" Mom said giving me a hug and kiss. "Yes!!" I exclaimed. "Happy 16th birthday!" Said aunt Carlie. "Thanks!" I smiled sitting down on the long brown couch. "I remember my 16th birthday." Said GrammaTard. Which made us all laugh. "Now can we do presents?" Brock asked. "Sure, do you want to Elizabeth?" Dad asked me. "Yeah I want to!" I exclaimed. Dad and the rest of the kids came out with a bunch of presents. "Open mine first." Brock said handing me a small little box. "Aww thanks brock." I said and kissed him on the forehead before opening my present. I opened the little box and in the box was a bracelet that had my Tard name engraved in it. It was really beautiful. "Oh my gosh, I love it!" I gasped. "Your welcome." Brock smiled giving me a small hug. I got a bunch of other stuff. Clothes, gift cards, phone cases, a laptop. "You guys, thank you so much." I said. I just had to, I went around to everyone and gave them all hugs. "Who's ready for pizza?!" Mom asked excitedly. "Meeee!!" We all screamed running into the kitchen area. Mom had Jets Pizza boxes spread all over the counters with different types of pizza toppings. I had two pieces of pepperoni pizza. It was really good.

Then we finished up the my birthday with vanilla cake and ice cream. Everyone sang happy birthday to me. I felt really really special. After they finished singing we all dug into the cake. "Well I just want to say something." Dad started finishing the cake he ate. "I really never knew Elizabeth would be such a big part of our lives. Since about two months have passed since we adopted you, it feels like you have always been apart of our family. You help us with the kids, our chores, and anything else that we need. Your really a great addition to our family." Said dad taking in a breath. I smiled and put my fork down and walked over to him and engulfed him a hug. "I love you!" I said. "Happy sweet 16." He said kissing me on the forehead.
