Do you know what this day is all about? It's about Christ's birth. The day when the Angels told the wisemen to go follow the North Star and then find a baby laying in a manger. It's just not any plain old baby. It's our savior who was born to come and save the world.

I was finishing wrapping the last couple presents and brought them downstairs to where everyone was putting their presents under our tree. Our whole family was here. Dads side and a little bit of moms side too.

"Merry Christmas Elizabeth!" Dad smiled and then kissed the top of my head. "Merry Christmas!" I smiled back. I went into the kitchen where mom and aunt Candace were making the dinner. "What up Elizabeth?!" Mom smiled. "Nothing much, Merry Christmas!" I exclaimed. "Merry Christmas honey!" She said. "Wanna try some of this homemade ice cream?" She asked. "Yeah!" I said excitedly. Mom went over to the silver ice cream machine and pulled out the spinner. It made the room start to smell like peppermint. "It smells so good." I observed. "Tastes even better." Dad said, suddenly behind us.

I was excited to taste my families famous peppermint ice cream. My mom scooped me a small bowl of ice cream and handed it to me. Immediately I took a spoonful. "Oh my gosh. This is so good." I said taking another spoonful. "See I told you." Said dad. I smiled at him.

I went into the living room to see what everyone was doing and to hang out with all the kids.

"Alright dinner time everyone!" My mom said clapping her hands. We had so much food. Cookies, pizza, shrimp, veggie trays, meatballs and so much more it's hard to list. But I piled my plate high with food.

I sat between my uncle Logan and uncle Casey and watched as all my family sat down at the table.

"Ok we'll before we all start eating I have some things to say." Said dad. "First off, this is Elizabeth's first official christmas!" Dad said which made everyone start to woooo and scream. I smiled shyly looking down and my lap but quickly looking back up. "Secondly this is one of the biggest years for our family. We moved up here and got the ranch started, the kids started school back here, me, Carlie and Rawn ran the New York marathon. And even though there are many more things that have happened, I think the biggest thing that had happened was finishing our family off by adopting Elizabeth." He said coming over to hug me.

I hugged him back tight getting a little emotional now. "Why are you crying?" Mom asked. "Because with out you guys I wouldn't have had a family. And I wouldn't be celebrating the birth of Jesus here, if it weren't for you." I said wiping the tears that had fallen.

After my little drama moment we went onto eating the wonderful dinner my mom had made. It was so good.

Dinner ended and I found myself in the basement with all my cousins. Uncle Logan had created a "hunger games" game. Basically what you do is you shoot the other person with a nerf gun and try to get the ball in the middle of the room. You have to try and get the ball without getting shot. If you get shot your out. It was a pretty fun game.

After we played a few rounds we went up stairs to do our annual pajama party! Grammatard puts together pajamas for each gender. The female outfits were so cute. Red long sleeved shirts with matching red and white pajama pants. After changing we came out in a single file line, "trying" to march at the same time.

The guys outfits were extremely funny. Elf outfits. "Oh my gosh!" Mom said starting to laugh. We were all laughing by now. "Nice choice gramma!" I said. "Thanks honey." She laughed.

After everything had settled down we gathered to open presents. It seemed to me like everyone got what they wanted. There were a lot of smiles.

My mom had set out dessert for everyone to get at seperate times. Which was just what had happened.

Everyone was spending the night, so after it got pretty late. I found myself in the basement with Gavin, Avia, Emmi, Gage, Brock, and Braylee watching a movie.

"What are you guys doing in here?" My dad asked. "Watching a movie!" Avia smiled. "Well it's midnight and santa won't come until your asleep." Said dad. "Dads right guys." Said Gavin. Avia sighed. "Fine." She said as I turned off the T.V. "Goodnight kiddos." Said dad. "Goodnight." We said in unison. Dad closed the door and I fell asleep right as my head hit the pillow.

Omg guys! I'm so sorry that I haven't updated. But here's a belated christmas chapter. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a happy new year! I will try to update more.
