Kongpob unpacks his stuff with a heavy heart. He can’t understand why Samorn arranged a vacation for him without even asking him if he wants to be away from her. He knows he doesn’t need this. Because how can he forget his greatest love without having no idea where to start? He knows he should start with Arthit himself but he has zero ideas where the older is, Kongpob doesn’t even know if Arthit’s still alive.
So really, the whole future letter debacle is just a phase of confusion that will surely dissipate after a few days of seeing his loving fiancée so he doesn’t need to ponder his thoughts here, at a fancy resort because that will just slowly take his sanity away.
But due to Samorn’s insistence that they should take a break for a while and him not wanting to cause any problem to her, here he is, in the hotel room, alone.
But he can’t also understand himself. 4 years of being with Samorn who has shown him nothing but love, 2 years to move on from Arthit and another 2 years to completely give Samorn his whole heart; all thrown away just because of a stupid letter, a stupid letter which was written 6 years ago.
Kongpob sits on the bed and roams his eyes around. Guess he needs to be on his own for a while. It’s just for a month anyway, a month of unloving Arthit, a month of completely forgetting Arthit. It will be easy.

After taking his needed rest, he decided to go to the nearest bar from his hotel, while nursing his favorite beer cocktail, his eyes take in his surroundings. Only a handful of people are alone, almost all of the people in the bar are either with their friends and partners. Kongpob sighs and drowns in the pang in his chest.
                              He misses Samorn.
Kongpob smiles at the thought, that’s it, that’s what Samorn wants, right, to miss her?  Right, first thing in the morning, he’ll be leaving this place to go back to her, his home.
Kongpob gets tired after an hour of observing people and guessing what they’re thinking at the moment especially with no one to talk to so he stands, deciding to call it a night.
“You going early? The star of the night is about to come out,” The bartender says.
“Yes, I have an early flight to catch tomorrow. Someone’s waiting for me.” The bartender shoots him a knowing look. Kongpob then pulls a wad of cash and sets it on the counter and he turns to leave.
Kongpob doesn’t know what kind of person 'the star of the night' is, he reckons, it’s a girl clad in bikinis and he doesn’t need that, he has a fiancée waiting for him at home.
If only Kongpob turned his head to the stage, he’d see that the star of the night is not a girl but a guy, holding a guitar with a beautiful smile etched on his face, a smile as warm as the sun. The people who know the guy brightly smile at him.
But Kongpob didn’t. He remains walking away with one thought in his mind. To get back with Samorn.
                              “Good evening everyone.”
Kongpob has already touched the handle, ready to leave, forget him and start anew…
… when he hears the voice, the very familiar sweet voice that haunts him every night.
                              It’s him.
Immediately, he stops dead in his track. He can’t be mistaken, there’s only one person who has that same sweet melodious voice.
In a breakneck speed, he turns his head back to the stage, his heart beating erratically against his chest when he sees him.
                              Finally.
