Oddly, most of the day, Kongpob hasn't seen Samorn. When he wakes up, Samorn has gone out for breakfast and before he could talk to Samorn right when she came back from the restaurant, Sed has come to fetch him and asks him to lend him a hand to organize the deliveries.

"Can it wait? I really need to talk to Samorn for a while." Kongpob insists while Sed is pulling him towards the bar, not that it's going to make a change with the way Sed has his hand wrapped tightly around his wrist but Kongpob did hope.

"It's going to be quick, please, Kong? I'm still your employer."

"Then I would like to formally tender my resignation now."

Sed whines. "I can't do it alone."

Kongpob sighs and since he's someone who prioritizes other people's needs than his, he let himself be pulled. Sed told him it's going to be quick yet it's already night when Sed has let go of him. The guy is awfully clingy to him, Kongpob had to check several times if he's still with Sed. If he didn't know anything better, Kongpob would say Sed is making a move on him.

But all day that he's with Sed leaves him no chance to talk to Samorn personally. He's already told his parents the wedding's not going to be happening anymore, all he needs now is to tell Samorn herself.

However, Samorn is taking in the scenery outside when he got to the hotel room, only leaving a note.

It's odd because it seems to Kongpob Samorn has already known what he has in mind and the latter is purposely ignoring him to impede the inevitable.

Poor Samorn.

But it has to happen, Kongpob has already decided and nothing's going to change his mind anymore. He's going to get back with Arthit.

/

Arthit sits at the restaurant, he, again, didn't go to work. He has only 2 days with Kongpob and he's done wasting it. He wants to see Kongpob tonight.

Arthit burns holes on his phone gripped tightly around his hand, he can't decide how to invite the younger. What words can he tell Kongpob to make it sound like he's not too demanding nor too chill but not too affected and that he's happy with Kongpob and Samorn but yes he wants Kongpob to come back to him because he still loves him and he's regretted everything already?

It's so hard.

"Can I talk to you..." Arthit stops deleting his crappy message, looks up from his phone but his cheerful greetings die from his lips seeing Samorn with her usual bright smile devoid from her face. "... Arthit?"

Arthit feels his heart beating quicker and louder against his chest.

Of course, Samorn knows who he is. She's not dumb but Arthit wants to ask how, since when and why did she have to pretend she doesn't know him. Did Kongpob tell her?

Arthit looks around them and finds a significant amount of people. "Can we do it outside?"

"Sure."

They sit back on the bench facing the ocean- stars reflecting off water with bioluminescence giving the water an electric blue light making it more compelling- it looks different tonight than the past month Arthit has seen it yet it gives him a melancholic feeling because this very same exotic look is what made him fell in love with this place, the very same look he realized how foolish he was for leaving Kongpob.

"You probably wanted to ask how I know you."

Samorn's monotonous voice cuts through the thick awkward silence, she sounds foreign to Arthit since he's used to hearing her cheerful and happy.
