He stood up quickly, scrambling to grab his phone. He opened his mouth to say something, but then stopped himself and jogged through the entrance the four of them walked through on the way over here. My cheeks flushed a crimson red. Were they talking about me? If they were i'm quite flattered, but i'm not interested in Michael what-so-ever. He's rude and sarcastic and that's someone that I don't want to be with. Plus, i'm also not attracted to tattoos and piercings.

"What was that all about?" Joavie stiffened a laugh. I shook my head and looked down to my lap. Luke got up soon after and ran after him.

"Michael! What the hell!" Luke called, running over to him. Michael looked back and started running faster. Joavie looked towards me.

"That was weird," She murmured. Calum came running off the field over to us.

"Hey," He greeted, out of breath. He rested his hands on his hips. Sweat dripped from his forehead and arms.

"Hey!" Joavie smiled widely. He used his forearm to wipe the sweat from his from his forehead.

"Weren't Luke and Michael here like two seconds ago?" He asked. I looked over to where Luke and Michael were. I could see Michael's fire hydrant red hair through the bushes beside the fence. I could also hear them yelling at each other. I didn't make eye contact with Calum because he can tell when I'm uncomfortable and he'll ask why and I don't want to tell him. Calum then kneeled down infront of me and cocked his head to look at my face. "You alright, Cora?"

"Never better," I mumbled.

"Okay... Are we still gonna see that movie tonight?" I nodded and smiled. He stood back up "K, I have to shower first," He laughed and smelt his underarm.

"Yeah, no problem," I stated. "Wanna come, Joavie?"

"Nah, Luke and I are supposed to go with his parents somewhere tonight, but thanks anyway."

"Oh, Okay. Well, I guess we'll see you later then," Calum stated. "Bye," He added. I stood up and pulled his arm to make him lean down to my height.

"Let's walk the other way," I whispered, pointing over to the only other exit on the field. He started to talk when I cut him off, "Please," I said in a hushed tone. Calum and I waved to Joavie while she walked away. Cal opened the gate across the field and let me walk through it first before closing it behind him. We started our longer-than-usual walk around the block. "So, what movie are we gonna watch?" I broke the silence.

"Maze Runner?" He suggested.

"Yes!" I clapped excitedly. "Even though I've seen it three times already. I'll happily go again with you," I laughed. We approached Calum's house. He unlocked the door and threw his keys on the couch. Then ran upstairs. I took my shoes and jackets off and put them in the coat closet. I slowly walked up the stairs and lied down on his bed. I could hear Calum singing loudly and the shower running. His bed spread was quite dirty, crumbs all over it and some actual dirt because he sometimes doesn't like to take off his shoes. I made his bed for him and picked up some of his laundry so when his mother got home he'd still be allowed to go to the movie. He opened the bathroom door surrounded with a cloud of condensation. He was dressed in a white green day t-shirt, and black jeans. Which is basically his aesthetic. He rubbed his towel, almost violently over his head. Then, he hung up the towel on the set of three hooks on the front of his bathroom door. He ran over to where I was sitting and jumped ontop of me, pinning me against his bed. I started laughing and screaming simoutaneously. He pushed me into the crack between his bed and wall. I couldn't move my arms or legs and my face was pressed against the wall. "You're a butt!" I laughed. Calum started killing himself laughing at me struggling to get out of the small space. I could hear the noise of his phone taking pictures. "Calum Thomas Hood! You better not be taking pictures of me!" I swung my leg over the side of the bed and hoisted myself out. I instinctly swung my fist and accidentally hit him in the face. I gasped loudly and he stopped laughing.
