Robert arrived at the barn, hoping to find Lapis to tell her the truth about why he was always working. Luckily, she was on the truck bed, where she usually spends most of her time. First, he had to find a ladder, but they were all somehow fastened to the side of the barn, too high for Robert, or anyone else for that matter, to reach. He had no choice but to go through the tiny window, but he knew she wouldn't be too pleased to see him. He thought about writing her a note like she did with him, but that would come across as cowardly, and Robert wasn't a coward.

He first knocked on the window, which has been flipped so that he couldn't open it from the inside. Lapis turned around to see Robert wave. She rolled her eyes and opened the door. "What do you want?" she groaned. "I wanted to tell you why I was always working," Robert responded. "It's not because I didn't want to spend time with you. In fact, I worked so much for the opposite reason."

"You spend so much time away, working, away from me...so you could spend more time with me?" Lapis asked, not convinced.

"Yeah, I wanted to ask you to go on a date next weekend. I wanted you to take another couple of your choice so you would feel more comfortable. I felt that our thing at Goodwill didn't count, and...I told you I promised that the next time, it would be a real date, and I don't take back promises unless I have to. I would say that I'm your knight in shining armor, but that would mean I never had my metal truly tested" Robert concluded.

Lapis' eyes slightly widened in surprise. "You really mean it?" she asked.

"I would never lie to you, Lapis. And I mean that, too." Robert answered.

Lapis slightly tears up. "I'm sorry for doubting you."

"It's fine, I would have doubted me, too." Robert shrugged. They sat in silence for several minutes.

"Anyway, I gotta go to bed. I got a big day tomorrow." said Robert as he began climbing down.

Robert went back to the beach house to sleep in his sleeping bag, but something felt off, It was surprisingly much more comfortable than it was previously, and he just fell fast asleep the moment he crawled in.

Michael looked at his brother sleeping ever so peacefully, and then noticed Pearl watching him and Steven as they sleep. Michael was put off by this, yet still slept soundly that night.

Robert and Michael found themselves in the smoky pink area they keep finding themselves in time and time again. Pink Diamond appeared in front of the boys once more.

"What do you want this time, Miss?" Michael asked.

"And if Lardna and Aloysius aren't our parents, then who are?" asked Robert.

Pink was taken aback by the two suddenly asking her these questions.

"Well, first, I don't know who your parents are, but all I know is they're still alive," Pink explained. "And I wanted to tell you that you have a sister."

"How do you know they're still alive, but not who they are, where they are, or if they're about to die?" Robert yelled.

"I've...been wondering that myself..." said Michael.

Pink sighed. "The truth is..."she started

"The truth is what?" asked Robert impatiently.

"The truth is...

...

...

Blue Diamond has them...They're in the Human Zoo" she stated as she began to tear up. "Lardna turned them in."
