When the Roaming Eye returned, Robert got really excited. His friends made it back home, and his family is with them!!
Or so the thought...
When the door opened, there were only the hollowed corpses of his friends. Not even his sister, mother, or father were on the ship. Even Michael was dead, The only item inside was his cursed sword. Robert looked around to see if Lapis was there, she wasn't. She, too became a shadow of her former self.
"I told you" the voice stated. "Your friends are weak! They have failed you!"
Robert was in tears and disbelief. "N-No...That's not true..." he sobbed.
"But it is! Now you have no choice but to join me!" said the voice.
Robert then reached for his sword. "Yes, my apprentice! Accept your fate and destroy this wretched world!" it boomed. Robert held it up, and pointed the blade at his chest.
"What are you doing?" The voice boomed. "Stop this insolence at once!"
"If I can't have my friends, you can't have your plans!" Robert growled as he thrust the sword through his chest, piercing his heard. His world began growing dark.
"I guess...I came out...a...hero...after all..." he said before taking his last breath, smiling.
IS THIS THE END?
