"She may be too much for you, but for me she's the perfect amount of crazy and lively."
She stood up as the doctor walked towards her, I mimicked her and stood beside her.
The doctor took in a deep breath before speaking, "He's in good shape," Kylie let out a breath of relief as she continued, "As of now. The coughing with blood is the first sign of 'End Stage' Pulmonary Fibrosis."
"What's end stage?" Kylie asked.
The doctor looked at her with sympathetic eyes, "It means the lungs are finally shutting down," she paused before becoming upbeat, "But we tested him and he came out negative, which means he still has time for a transplant."
"So he's not in end stage?" I asked.
She nodded, "No, but if he continues to have symptoms take him here immediately so we can begin treating him," she gave Kylie a pamphlet.
"Can I see him?"
The doctor nodded, "Not quite yet. He's still getting into the breathing routine, but you should be able to see him in less than an hour."
"Okay," she smiled, "Thank you."
"No problem," the doctor smiled before walking away.
She turned around and smiled at me, I smiled back before a huge group of people walked in. Skylar, Raegan, Karla, Damon, and Antonio came in, all with a bunch of random things in there arms. Each of them either had either a teddy bear or chocolate in there hands.
Antonio's eyes immediately fell on Kylie before he came walking towards her. She turned around and immediately wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into a hug.
"Is he okay?" I heard him ask.
She nodded, "It was just a side effect of the medicine."
"Good," he traced his hands in her hair before kissing her forehead.
