"When life decides to play a sick joke on you, just take a deep breath and be the bad guy."
My eyes widened and my heart began to race when Ace introduced me to Dimitri. His face obviously showed his anger and frustration, but yet he seemed calm.
"Kylie," he finally breathed out.
"Dimitri," I smiled trying not to show the other guys that I had interest in him, "Nice to see you again," I put my hand out for him to shake.
Ace tried holding in a laugh before looking down at me, "I didn't know it was the same Dimitri, I swear to God."
Dimitri raised an eyebrow at him, "So she talks about me."
Ace smirked before replying, "All the time."
Dimitri grinned before frowning, "You said date?"
"She's not my girlfriend or anything among that line," Ace informed him, "Just a last minute date for the event."
"I see," Dimitri thought to himself, "It's probably better if I don't introduce the both of you to my colleagues."
Before either of us could respond Jethro came up to the three of us, "I don't think she'd mind, after all it's Ace we're supposed to be interested in."
"Very well," Dimitri replied in a long exhale, "Follow me," he gestured for the two of us to follow him to the men he was talking to.
"Mister Romano," Dimitri gestured from Ace to Jethro, "This is Mister Kason. He's a business man here in the region."
"Kason?" Ace tested out his name before looking down at me, "I've heard a lot about you."
"Is that right?" He smirked at me.
"It wasn't from me," I hissed at him.
"Mhm," he replied sarcastically before shaking Ace's hand, "Jethro Kason, but most people call me by my last name."
