Jughead POV

After all the things that have happened so far it was worth it taking the time to make someone very dear to me smile as much as they did.  I think that's one of the most important things in a relationship, being able to make the other person smile and realise why they fell in love with you in the first place.

That's what I want with y/n I want her to never let me go. I know cheesy coming from the leader of the Serpents. But as much as it is cheesy it's true. Betty says I'm blinded by love, her love. And honestly I think she's right.

She meant the works to me and I won't let anything happen to her.

Your POV

I was sitting st Betty's house. We were studying for an upcoming test. When she brings something up.
"Have you heard of the game gryphons and gargoyles?"  She asks me looking serious, I nod my head still looking down at my paper. I only look up to meet her eyes when she doesn't say anything.

"Well there is this gang called the gargoyles we think they're working with Hiram, and they may be after. Well Archie and I think they are Jug doesn't know anything about it." She says looking down worried if she scared me, it takes me a while to take in what she had said. "Wha- why would they be after me?!" I say feeling myself panic.

"Your Jughead's girlfriend. If they want to hurt Jug the best way it through  you as he cares for you so much y/n you don't even know how much he talks about you" she laughs. After a while of talking shout pointless things and screaming at Archie from Betty's window. We decided it would be a good time to get some rest.

Betty falls asleep almost instantly but I can't, I keep thinking about what she said about the gargoyles... Would they actually come for me? If they do what will happen to me.. Will the force me to take fizzle rocks and Play G&G? Maybe they're sickos after all.
After a while I finally manage to fall asleep, thinking about what will happen tomorrow and if they will come for me.

-time skip morning 7:30am-

"AHH" I wake up screaming the thoughts of last night causing me to have a nightmare. "Omg are you okay!?" Betty asked coming over to me. I nod my head tears falling out of my eyes. Betty can tell I'm it feeling myself and goes over to her phone "I'll be back" she says walking out the door. I think she called someone as I can hear her talking to someone but it's only one voice. " jug will be here soon" she says smiling confirming my theory about her on the phone with someone.

I nod my head and go over to my bag grabbing me clothes for the day. I go into her bathroom and take s look in the mirror, my eyes are read and my puffy checks are stained with tears, you can tell I've been crying, I wash my face and get dressed to walk back in to Betty's room and her sitting on her bed with Jughead. As soon as he hears the door open he comes over to me pulling me into a warm hug.

" I won't let them touch you" he says Betty must've about out talk last night and how that was connected to my nightmare, " i promise" he finishes. Knowing I'm safe with him provided me with some much needed closure.

"Thank you" I respond standing on my toes and leaving a kiss on his cheeks. I giggle as I notice the now pink tint visible on his cheeks.
" come on guys" I say grabbing my bag and walking out the door.
