The school day was over and Betty was taking me to pops as a treat, maybe she did remember she just didn't wanna say anything at school, which i'm hopeful for i didn't think she would forget entirely, knowing Betty she wrote in on her calendar.

Once we arrive at pops i go to get a booth while Betty gets the milkshakes, as i'm sitting down looking out the window thinking about everything and anything.

Betty soon comes and sits my milkshake down in front of me, i sip it every so often while keeping my gaze fixed on the world outside of the diner.

"you okay? it seems like you have something on your mind" she asks me. "yeah i'm fine just thinking" i smile at her and turn my head to the window once again. Betty nods clearly not believing me completely.

Betty's phone rings and me, being the nosy person i am tries to look at the caller ID. bu i cant quite see it. she walks out the door standing outside the diner. Once again leaving me to collect my thoughts.

"Y/n we have to go" she says grabbing my hand and leaving the money one the table for the Milkshakes, "what why?!" i ask. "something happened with Jughead, hes at you house we have to go!"

That's all the had to say and i'm out of the booth running down the street towards my house. luckily for me my house isn't that far from Pops.

"Hurry up Betty!" i say speeding up.

we soon reach my house and i wait outside for Betty, i can hear faint voices inside so i know Jug isn't alone, Betty arrives not long after me. we go inside and the lights are off.

Due to Cheryl's love for dark colored curtains, not much light gets through, i turn on the lights to be met with my boyfriend, sister and closets friends saying Happy birthday and wearing party hats.

They didn't forget.

i smile and walk over to Jug and Archie and pull them into a hug thanking them for this. "hey don't thank me, it was all Jughead, he even stayed home from school to plan this" says archie stepping out of the hug.

i felt tears prick my eyes, this is the happiest I've been since the day my whole family spent Christmas together when I was 5.

"thank you" I say pulling Jughead into another hug. I don't think he knew how much this meant to be and how happy I was at this moment.

"I'm sorry I had to act like I forgot your birthday.. I really didn't like it, trust me" Betty says smiling placing a hand on my shoulder, I knew she wouldn't have forgotten, but it did cross my mind once of twice.

"the same goes for me cha cha, I even got you something I think you'd like" Cheryl says handing me a neatly wrapped box. Like all immature people I shake it to see if I can hear anything inside. I don't meaning it was either wrapped really well, or Cheryl has given me some of her old clothes.

I open the box and what is inside makes the biggest smile appear on my face. "Are you serious!?" I say pulling out my new River Vixen cheerleading outfit out. I never though Cheryl would let me join, let alone just give me the uniform.

"well I've seen you dancing in your room before and thought you should join. besides we could bond more" my sister says smiling.

so far this has been one of the best birthdays yet. and I'm thankful for everyone that had put a lot of effort into making this amazing.
