A week had passed, during that week jughead and I had perfected our plan down to every last detail so we new sure nothing could go wrong and that under any circumstance we would have a plan b out of the situation, we were behind the comic book store waiting for Sweat Pea and fangs who would be accompanying us, once they got there jugehad pointed to a boy walking down the ally "I think that's him,"

I nodded and looked around "did he come alone? It doesn't look like anyone followed him" jughead nodded "yeah, I think youre right, th8is might be easier than we thought," jughead grabbed my hand and started walking towards the boy "kai right? Im jughead,"

Kai nodded "that's me, you have the cash" I nodded "we do, but before we buy we'd like to ask you some questions first."

Kai visibly gulped as he nodded softly "a-alright.." Jughead nodded at me and then began to ask the questions, "so I know youre friends with kurt, what do you know about the gargoyles?"

"I dont know much.. all I know is that Kurt is in contact with the gargoyle King but doesn't know his Identity.." Kai said softly but kept looking around to see if anyone was around "what do you know about Veronica Lodge?" I asked "Veronica? I know she's a friend of Kurt she often calls him and someone comes to see him, she gives him Money but I dont know what for"

Jughead and I exchanged looks and nodded "Okay, Kai. That's enough thank you" Jughead gave kai the Money but didn't take the drugs "just keep it, use it on something you want" Kai nodded thanking Jughead as he scurried off. Once we got back to my place we sat on the bed, looking at the sort of crime board we had put together to keep track of everything that was happening.

"Well I didn't expect that." Jug sighed "mhm, I know neither did I, I didn't expect him to say that Veronica and Kurt are friends.. clearly she's getting something out their so called friendship otherwise she wouldn't be paying him if it was genuine, and I dont' think Veronica would be the type or person to just give out money to someone like Kurt."

"I agree, this just doesn't make sense, what would she be getting.. do you think she's trying to get into the drug trade? If so then why would Kurt kidnap you"
"wait... didn't you say that the old school that all the serpents went to was abandoned? What if Veronica Is paying Kurt to go in there and make all these drugs.. and then Kurt tested the drug on me, I know its a long shot,.."

Jughead nodded "youre right, it Is a long shot but its worth it to consider it."

For the next couple of weeks everything went back to some form of normality, Veronica wasn't bothering us as much but there was still the occasional death glare, Archie was still ignoring Jughead, Betty and myself. He wouldn't even respond to my messages where I asked if he was okay,, so it got to the point where I was asking Reggie about his well being, he has been going good, but hes given up on music and taken up boxing.

Betty has told me that hes been boxing late into the night from what she can see from her window, Alice spoke to Fred and he is worried, so am I. I know In a way this is somewhat my fault but I want to talk to him and apologies for what happened, I dont want him to think I dated him for the soul reason of him being a rebound for Jughead or an excuse to make him jealous. Because that wasn't what was happening. I generally did and still do have feelings for him. Its just my feelings for Jughead are much stronger.

Sorry for not updating guys, ive just had majour wrtiers block and didnt really knoow where i wanted to go with this story, but i have somewhat of an idea now so i should be updating once a week :))
