I was sitting at home watching YouTube, casually checking my emails to see if I had gotten any homework, although I asked Betty to take notes for me I can't rely on her to heavily, I don't want to stress her out.

I hadn't gotten any messages from that person, that's making me feel a little better about being home. I wonder if they go to my school? I hope they don't, I'm already on edge at home and I need it at school either. As I'm watching YouTube, the notification goes off on my phone, notifying me that someone had sent me a message, I swear my all colour in my face left as I slowly turn over my phone to check who texted me.

I let out a sigh of relief finding it to be only jughead.

I wonder what it's about? Maybe talking about homework..? Oh who am I kidding of corse it will be able G&G. Maybe I should tell them about the number..? I don't want to worry then anymore though, they're already externally worried after the incident with Kurt. I check the time. 2:00pm school would be getting out in an hour, I groan as I get out of bed, grabbing some clothes I go to have a shower.

Once I'm finished I get dressed, grabbing my beanie, putting it on my head and applying a little makeup. By the time I finish it's 2:45pm. Pops is 30 minutes away, I'm sure they won't mind me being a little late, right?

As I leave I grab my helmet, starting my motorbike as leaving the house, before I left I made sure to leave a note for Cheryl so she knew where I would be. 

ARCHIE POV uwu 

School finished 1o minutes ago, after school we all got straight in my car and drove to pops, the dive was only 5 minutes so it didn't take long. When we got there I guess we kind of expected y/n to be there already waiting for us, Jughead made sure to let her know during lunch so she had enough time to prepare. 

As we enter the shop Betty starts to look around, kind of like a mother who lost her child inside a store. "She's not here, is she okay?" Betty asks turning back to us. Jughead looks around the room sighing when he also doesn't see her. 

"Relax Betty I'm sure she's just running late, school only just finished," I said walking past her going towards the booth near the window we always sit at. 

10 more minutes pass and she's still not here, Betty started to play with her fingers trying to find something to distract her. "If she's still not here in 10 minutes, you're calling her," Betty said looking Jughead dead in the eyes. 

not long after that a motorbike pulls into pops, Betty rushes towards the door. " Oh my god! don't scare me like that I was starting to worry." she says hugging y/n as she walks in the door, "I'm sorry I lost track of time I should've messaged you," y/n says hugging  her back, they both walk towards the booth. 

Betty gives me a look as if to say 'switch' so I get up and slide in next to Jughead as betty and y/n sit next to each other. 

it's silent for about 2 minutes before y/n speaks. "Soo what did you want to talk about," she says placing her hands in her pocket. 

"Well, I guess we wanted to talk about what happened with Kurt, and why he went after you specifically." Jughead says folding his arms over his chest. 

"It just doesn't make sense to me, sure Kurt plays G&G, but up until now we've had nothing to do with it, so why target you?" Betty responds. 

y/n's face goes pale, does she know something?

"Are you okay?" I ask looking at her now pale face. "Yeah, there's just something happened and I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want to worry you..." she says slowly taking out her phone. 

"A couple of days after the incident with Kurt, I got a message from an unknown number, and they seem to know me..." she said handing her phone to Betty who then handed the phone to Jughead and I. So she's being threatened.. 

"I mean, its a shot in the dark but what if this person told Kurt to go after you." Jughead says handing her phone back. "it cant be, I've only been in Riverdale a short while, I haven't really been caught up in anything." y/n exclaimed shaking her head. 

"unless.... its veronica" Betty says, we all look at her like she's crazy. "okay, here me out. when you first joined the school you ran into veronica and she said something to Archie that you didn't like so you stepped up," y/n nods as Jughead places a hand under his chin thinking. "Yes, that's right, then a couple days later you and got into a fight and you sais that she had daddy issues and you pretty much told her to fuck off," Jughead says chuckling slightly remembering the memory. 

"So, we all agree. we start to investigate Veronica and see if she has anything to do with this.?" I say looking at my friends. they all nod meaning they agree. If it is veronica then why is she going through Kurt? is veronica the gargoyle king.? 

"tomorrow at school, we keep an eye on veronica." Jughead says standing up. we all nod and go our separate ways as it was getting late, y/n waves to us as she gets on her motorbike while Betty, Jughead and I leave in my car. 

"We have to do something about this quick, it really effecting her." Betty says staring out the window.  "yeah, yeah we do" I say driving out of the parking lot. "don't mention any of this to Cheryl" Jughead says. we all agree, not saying anything more. 

I hope this is all over soon.
