Third Person POV

it had been a couple of days since Archie had spoken about his feelings for y/n. he had been watching Jughead closely to see if he would talk to her, he hadn't even tried to it's like he had given up.

Archie was waiting for the right time now, all he had to do was talk to Jughead about what he was going to.  He was going to make it clear to Jughead that he was loosing his girl. Sure this was all Jughead's plan to figure out wether Veronica had something to do with the Kurt incident, but surly Jughead to could make time outside of school for his girlfriend.

The school day finally started, the day Archie was going to tell Jughead was here. just like every day the past week, Archie had been driven to school by Cheryl along with Betty and Y/n. once they arrive at school, it's the same thing, Jughead talking to Veronica outside the school, Jughead watching the group as they walked pasted. Nothing had changed.

Archie POV

"You guys go ahead, ill meet you in science. " I said as I walked over to the 2. "Jug, dude you have to stop, you can't go ignoring y/n anymore you're going to loose her"  I said shaking my head at him. "what do you mean?" he asked looking at me.

Is this guy really serious? he's actually asking me this. "You're hurting her! she's has been trying everything to make you notice her, she even tried to make you jealous!" I screamed, by this point he was actually getting on my nerves. "well, that didn't work did it? I'm not jealous" Veronica chuckles beside him.

"you know what Jughead, yeah it did work because I like her now, and I'm going to court her until she realises what an asshole you are and she breaks up with you," I said walking away from him.

At this point I didn't care, friend or not he is being a complete douche.

JUGHEAD POV

Did he really just say what I think he just said? That's he is going to steal my girlfriend from me if I don't step up my game and be a better boyfriend?
They don't understand my reasons for doing this. They don't understand that I'm doing this to figure out if Veronica has a connection to Kurt or g&g in general.

"Oh here comes trouble" Veronica says rolling her eyes as Betty walks over. Does she have a problem with everyone I talk to?
"So...I'm guessing Archie talked to you Jughead." Betty says standing in front of me not even glancing at Veronica. She's here for me and she means it.
"He did now you can leave to Betty Boo" Veronica says once again in the fake ass night voice.
"Well, just letting you know Jug, since y/n joined the vixens. She's going to have all the boys after her." Betty said before walking away.

I guess she's right, even without the title of a vixen y/n is still very attractive. Now that she is a vixen people will want to get with her because of her face and popularity.
"Veronica...I don't think I can hang out with you anymore, y/n means a lot to me and I'm not ready to give that up," I said looking at her grabbing my bag and standing up to go and find her, as I go to leave Veronica grabs my shoulder turning me around to face her.

"Jughead...forget her I have everything you could ever want I could you give everything you want!" "I'm sorry Veronica, but no" as I walk away I turn back to see her stomping her feet. Is she really that immature?

I walk through the school doors seeing Cheryl at her locker talking to Toni. "What do you want jonesy?" She questioned as I walked up to her.
"Where's y/n?" She rolls her eyes so hard I thought they might fall out of her head. "Oh her? I didn't think you cared enough." "Well Yeah I do care, now where is she?"

She doesn't say anything but points to the direction of the gym I'm guessing she's there with Betty practicing?
"Thank you!" I yell as I start running down the hallway towards the gym.

YOUR POV

Betty and I headed down to the gym to get in some early practice for this afternoons practice when we hear the door open and I see Jughead standing there in the door way. "I'll leave you to alone, you guys need to talk." Betty says leaving the gym.

"Yes? What do you need?" I asked him, I know that sounded rude but at this point I couldn't care less with everything he's done. Mostly ignoring me to the max.
"I wanted to say sorry, sorry for ignoring you and making you feel like shit." He said walking over to me standing in front of me.
"I want to apologise for everything and hope we can go back to how we were."

Oh.. he doesn't know?

"Jughead I'm sorry...Archie asked me out because he said that you were with Veronica."

"I- that's a lie! Sure I was with Veronica but I wasn't dating her nor am i.. Wait- what did you say...?" He asked me looking for any sign of a answer in my eyes.

"I said yes."
