After Mya and Harry got cleaned up, they made their way back to the compartment. The group of students talked the whole way there, only stopping to change into their robes. As they got off the train, they meet up with Ron and Hermione.
"What stinks?" Ron scrunched up his nose, sniffing the air as they stepped outside.
"Your breath," Mya was struggling to hold all her things. Maybe the owl wasn't the best idea with the whole cage thing.
The two girls had gotten themselves animals the other day in Diagon Ally. Mya had gotten herself a brown owl, that had light red feathers mixed in it. She decided to name him Fox; because he, in fact, reminded her of a Fox. Lea had gotten a cat with bright white fur, she decided to name her Pepper; because she thought it would be ironic.
"Does my breath stink?" Ron mumbled as he breathed into his hand, trying to locate the smell.
Harry shook his head as they approached the carriages. "No, Neville's Mimbulus Mimbletonia, spat stink sap on us."
"That sucks," Ron moved to the other side of Harry, as he was previously walking next to Neville and his plant.
"Come on let's get a carriage," Hermione told them as they watch one pass by.
Harry felt something cold hit the back of his neck, like someone was breathing on him. Turning around, he looked at the skeleton horse like creature. "What is it?"
Lea and Mya shared a knowing look. They knew it was a thestral, a creature you could only see if you had witnessed someone die. However, they could not see it, or tell Harry about it yet.
"What's what?" Ron turned around, turning to see what he was looking at.
"That, pulling the carriage," Harry said pointing to the animal, most could not see.
"Nothing's pulling the carriage, Harry," Hermione gave him a skeptical look. "It's pulling itself like always."
Harry walked past the animal with a strange expression on his face.
"You're not going mad," Luna had a dreamy look in her eyes- her signature look- as she and Ginny approached them. "I can see them, too. You're just as sane as I am.."
Mya clasped her hands together and she put her things on the Carriage. She sat in between Ron and Luna. With Lea sat on the other side of Ron.
"So, are the feast as good as I've heard of?" Mya asked as the carriage pulled away.
"Better than anything you could ever dream about," Ron's mouth was watering at just the thought of what he was going to eat tonight.
"I can't wait," Mya smiled.
"That's an interesting neckless you have," Hermione said as she pointed to Luna's neckless. Which consisted of butterbeer corks.
"It's a charm, actually," Luna played with it. "Keeps away the Nargles."
