"You're a good guy." I heard the man say to Tyreese. "That's why you're gonna die today. It's why the girl's gonna die today."

I turned around and glared at the man, but he kept on talking. "It's why the baby is gonna die."

I raised my gun again and aimed it at him as I walk towards him. "You shut your damn mouth or I swear..."

"Or..." The man spoke up, raising his tied hands a little. "You can get in that car, get out of here, keep on being lucky."

"You think you're gonna kill me?" Tyreese asked the man with his deep voice.

"Why haven't you killed me?" Seems like this man has a death wish. "How does having me alive help you? Why the hell are you even talking to me?"

I cocked my gun, making the man jump a little. "You got a death wish? I'm willing to fulfill that."

The man looks at me in the eyes. "Take her, take the car, and go. I don't want to do this today."

My chest goes up and down as I try to calm myself, before lowing my gun a little. "I'm not leaving my mom behind."

An explosion from afar suddenly goes off and we all jump. Tyreese immediately checks the window and I look at him, but glanced back at the man to check if he's gonna do anything stupid.

He stays on the floor but talks. "Is that Terminus?"

"Yeah. Probably." Tyreese says and the man slumps down.

"Maybe you're gonna win this." He tells the both of us before turning to me. "Maybe your mom just got capped... Maybe I'm gonna be the one who gets capped when she gets back."

"Nobody's gonna die today." Tyreese says and the man huffs. Even I don't believe that.

"Man, if you believe that... then it's definitely gonna be you, her and the kid." The man spoke. "Even if that place is burning to the ground."

"I told you to shut up." I glared at the man, who looked up at me.

The man chuckles, still chewing that chewing gum and it's getting on my nerves. "You sure are a lot like your mom, but you're more feisty."

I rolled my eyes at him. "I didn't tell you to give your useless opinion. I told you to shut up."

When I heard snarls, I turned around and walked towards the window. There are about five walkers outside, all heading across this shack. I heard frantic footsteps behind and I aimed my gun at the man, only to realize that he's holding Judith by the head and body.

"Back off!" Judith starts crying and my breathing becomes uneven. Not her. "Back off!"

"Don't hurt her!" I exclaimed at the man but he doesn't let Judith go.

"Put your weapons on the ground. Kick them over right now. Right now." Walkers are now pounding against the door and windows as Tyreese and I surrendered our weapons.

"Please." Ty said as we stood up. "Please, don't hurt her."

"Go outside." The man tells us but we don't move. "Go outside! Just one twist, man!"

"No!" I yelled.

"Don't make me!" Judith is crying out loud and my heart breaks for the kid, but anger is taking over me right now. I want to hurt the man, but I know he'll hurt Judith first before I can even hurt him. "Go outside."

I backed up slowly and Tyreese opens the door with yell, pushing a walker out. I followed him outside and slammed the door shut, before I saw two walkers on my left.

I look around frantically to find a weapon, or anything I can use, but I found none. But my eyes landed on the car. Before the walkers could get too close, I ran away from them and head straight to the car, before searching it.

Where the hell are the damn knives?!

A walker grabs my ankle and I kicked it away immediately. I got out of the car and stomped onto the walker's head with a yell. Its rotten brain is crushed underneath my boot as the other walker limps toward me.

I kicked its knee and I grunt, before shoving the walker's head onto the car. I shout as I closed the car door, crushing the walker's head within. There's blood all over my hands and top, but I don't care.

All I can see is red and all I feel is anger towards the man.

When I heard Tyreese yell, I went to where he was amd saw him bashing a walker's skull against the wall. There was a walker approaching him. I immediately saw a piece of wood by the wall and grabbed it, before running towards the walker and slamming the wood onto its head.

I bashed the walker's head until it was completely crushed, before everything goes silent. Tyreese and I looked at each other before I dropped the wood. We walked back to the door of the shack, and Tyreese opened it before attacking the man.

I immediately ran towards Judith and saw that she was okay. Tyreese has a knife against the man's throat and I picked Judith up, her whimpering from crying too much earlier.

"Yeah, that's how it works." The man said.

"I won't." Every punch that Tyreese throws at the man, he says those two words.

I made Judith look away and just face me. I know she'll probably don't remember this but I can't let her see this. My anger vanishes as the kid smiles at me, placing her hands on my cheeks.

"I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you." I promised to the kid. "I'll keep you safe."

Tyreese had beat the man badly but I don't seem to care. Once he was done, he stands up and offers to carry Judith. I spotted a towel by the table and grabbed it, wiping the walker blood off of my hands. Although my hands are still stained, the fresh walker blood is off.

Tyreese and I got out of the shack and I closed the door behind me. My heart stopped for a second when I saw a group of people walking towards us.

My friends, and there was Carl.

A smile broke out of my lips as he started running along his dad and Sasha. Once they reached us, Carl and I hug the life out of the each other. I didn't realized I was crying until a sob leaves my mouth.

"You're here..." I breathe out, still hugging Carl. "You're here."

"I thought you were gone." Carl tells me before pulling away slightly. His arms are still wrapped around me but he's facing me. "I lost you. I-I thought I'd never see you agai—"

I push all my thoughts and care away, and cut him off by crashing my lips against his.
