Carl removes the hair tie and my hair falls down all over his lap, as I'm lying my head down on his lap. I chuckled lightly as he started combing my hair with his fingers, there's some knots in the way but Carl didn't push through so I wouldn't get hurt.

I stare at Carl's face even with the low light that the candles are providing us. He still looks good, so good like how even?

"You still haven't told me." Carl suddenly speaks then looks at me in the eye. "What happened when we got separated?"

All the bad memories came running back into my mind. How do I start? How do I tell him what happened?

"Do you..." I started, feeling my throat becoming dry. "Did you felt remorse when you killed that kid? The one in the woods?"

He was surprised by my question, I can tell, but he answers anyway. "No, I didn't."

I sighed. He didn't feel any remorse but I do. I know that lady helped destroy one of the good things we've ever had, but I don't know if taking her life was okay. Nothing ever really is okay nowadays, I know sooner or later I'll get someone else's blood on my hands.

"I killed a woman at the prison." I told Carl with my eyes closed. "She... she was shooting at Tyreese. There were two them. L-Lizzie, she... she shot the guy, and I shot the woman in the head."

When I opened my eyes, expecting-well, I don't really know what I'm expecting. But when I opened my eyes, there isn't a hint of disappointment in Carl's eyes. It made me feel relieved in some ways.

"You had to do it." Carl tells me softly, caressing my hair. "You had to, to save Tyreese."

I nodded, that's what the latter told me before. "Then, we ran out of the prison. Me, and Ty, Lizzie, Mika, Judith. We found my mom along the way, and we were heading to Terminus, but we needed a place to stay in."

"We found this house," I continued my story. "We stayed there for a while till... till Lizzie... she lost it, Carl. She was too far gone. S-She stabbed her sister to death..."

I closed my eyes again to stop the tears from coming out. "I-I was there with them, but Lizzie asked me to get her some food. When I came back, Mika's gone. It's my fault that she's gone."

"It's not your fault." Carl tells me softly. "You didn't know what she was gonna do to Mika."

I sighed with that heavy feeling feeling in my chest again. "I should've seen it coming, I could've stopped her. Mom had to kill her because she can't be around other people, God knows what she'll do. Those girls lost their lives because of me."

I got up from Carl's lap and sat down next to him, wiping my eyes. Carl removes my hands from my face and makes me face him.

"It wasn't your fault." Carl tells me firmly, before he started leaning in.

But we got stopped when Sasha and the rest entered the church. They went out to look for Bob, Daryl and my mom. After dinner we all realized that the three are missing. I'm worried sick about my mom and Carl helped me calm down, by getting some things off of my chest.

Sasha started questioning Gabriel if he had anything to do with the sudden disappearance of our members. Rick then talked to Gabriel, asking him what's he's done. The latter soon cracked, sobbing as he tells us what he's done. He's locked the door every night and kept everyone else before out. People died because of him, families, children, he let them die.

"There's something..." Glenn's voice catches our attention. "There's someone outside lying in the grass."

They opened the door and when they came back, Carl and I saw Bob, with his other leg done. I covered my mouth in shock and suddenly remember Hershel. My mom stopped the bleeding before, she can stop it again-but then, my mom's also missing.

"I was in the graveyard. Somebody knocked me out." Bob started explaining after a panicking Sasha asked him what happened. "I woke up outside this place, it looked like a school. It was that guy, Gareth, and five other ones. They were eating my leg right in front of me like it was nothing, all proud like they had it all figured out."

My insides turns and I had to look away from Bob. I spotted Michonne standing nearby so I went to her side. "Did they have Daryl and Carol?"

Now I begin to be nervous as hell. If those cannibals have my mom and Daryl, I don't know what I'll do. And I don't mean that in a scared way, I mean it in the way I'll do something that can hurt those bastards.

"Gareth said they drove off." Drove off to where? Why would they leave without saying anything? Why would my mom leave me again without saying anything?

Bob starts grunting in pain and Sasha's worries thickens. "He's in pain. Do we have anything?"

"I think there are pill packets in the first aid kits." Rosita answers her. I was going to the room to find that first aid kit, but Bob told us no.

He then revealed that he's bitten in the shoulder, and that he got bitten at the food bank. Gabriel offered that there's a couch in his office that Bob could lie in, Sasha thanked him before they moved Bob in there. Carl followed them but I decided to stay put.

"We all need to leave for DC right now." Abraham announces but I shook my head.

"Daryl and Carol are gonna be back." Rick states after he glanced at me and I nod. "We're not going anywhere without them."

"I respect that, but there's a clear threat to Eugene here. I need to extract his ass before things get any uglier." Abraham said. "So if y'all won't come, good luck to you. We'll go our separate ways."

"You leaving on foot?" Rick asked him. Abraham starts telling him that they're the ones who fixed the bus and things are starting to get heated up in here. "We're not going anywhere without our people."

"Your people took off." Abraham states and I took a step forward.

"They're coming back." I glared at him the redhead as their attention is all on me. "And we're not leaving them because they will come back."

"To what, picked-over bones?" Abraham asked me. Rick was quick to defend me, my mom and Daryl.

The redhead is loosing is temper and so is Rick, Glenn had to stop them from attacking each other. I left the room with my arms crossed, glaring at the ground as I do so. I entered the room where Carl and the others are, apart from Sasha and Bob, and I took a seat next to Carl with a heavy sigh.

Carl doesn't speak, nobody in this room did, instead he grabs my hand, lacing our fingers together before he squeezed first. I squeezed back in seconds, a signal that I'm okay.

I just want to know where my mom and Daryl drove off to, and I just want them to come back now.
