The sound of a door being forced open made me look up in alert. I stood up and told Ty to watch Judith. I got my gun out, stood next to Carl, and aimed it at the door.

"Well, I guess you know we're here." A man's voice said from outside. I'm assuming this is the Gareth guy. "And we know you're here."

A chill ran down my spine but I kept a firm grip on my gun. "And we're armed. So there's really no point in hiding anymore."

A moment of silence. I can't tell how many they are outside, but I know for sure that this Gareth guy isn't alone.

"We've been watching you. We know who's here." That is freaking disturbing. "There's Bob, unless you've put him out of his misery already. And Eugene. Rosita. Martin's good friend Tyreese."

I glanced back at the latter. I knew we should've ended that man's life when we had a chance, but I know I would've regret it.

"There's Farren, another good friend of Martin's." Carl glanced at me but I kept my eyes on the door. "Carl... Judith."

"Rick and the rest walked out with a lot of your guns." And they'll come back, sooner or later, they will. "Listen, we don't know where you are, but this isn't a big place. So let's just stop this now before things get more painful than they need to be."

No one in this room moved. There's another silence but I can hear the very faint footsteps from outside. "Look, you're behind one of these two doors and we have more than enough firepower to take down both. Can't imagine that's what you all want."

"How about the priest? Father, you help us wrap this up, we'll let you walk away from this." I took a glance back at Gabriel, who's shaking in his seat. He won't do that. "Just open the door and you can go. You can take the baby with you. What do you say?"

I cocked my gun slowly as I aimed it at the door, but Judith started crying out loud. Shit.

"It's your last chance right now to tell us you're coming out." Gareth speaks, his voice close to the room we're in.

A gunshot went off. Followed by another one. That's when we heard Rick's voice. Relief washes over me before I lower my gun down. I haven't realized how fast my heart was beating and how much I'm shaking, until now.

Shouts, grunts, and the sound of knife stabbing against skin is all that we heard from outside. I tried to block the sounds out, but I can't. Sooner or later, I'll have to get blood on my hands again, or my blood will be on somebody else's hands.

next day

"Thank you." I tell Bob as I stood by him. "You saved my life back at the prison. You're a good man, Bob."

I hold the man's hand between mine and he nods his head, eyes with tears, before I let go and go back to Carl's side. Everyone else said their thank you's and goodbyes to Bob, before we left the room.

Later on, Abraham and the rest declared that they're gonna get going to Washington.

I hug Glenn tight, not wanting him or Maggie to go at all. Today they're leaving for Washington. When things went down last night, they agreed that Glenn, Maggie and Tara will come along to Washington and they'll take the bus.

"I'll miss you, Chinese." I tell Glenn before pulling away. He ruffled my hair with a small smile. "I'm Korean."

It's been a while since I've called him Chinese and he'll correct me that he's Korean. I always do that back at the farm, teasing him even though I do know he's Korean.
