  بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Wassup people, I just finished writing a hellish exam by the name of jamb on Thursday the 11th of April....and the worst thing happened. The computer went off.

So rn my physics is in serious jeopardy.

But Alhamdulillah I didn't get dealt with the worst possible fate.

On to chapter 18. We're nearing the big two-zero.

This chapter's gonna be cast somewhile after Maliya's discharge.

"Babe how you dey na?"( Babe how are you?) A classmate of Maliya's, Sharon asked.

"I hear say you faint last week, people kon dey talk say you don get belle"( i heard you fainted last week and people said you were pregnant)' Sharon said laughing.

Some time ago, she might have been angry about her classmates thinking she was pregnant, but all she felt at that moment was amusement.

"Abeg oo, na you wan dash me belle? ( Do you want to get me pregnant?)" Maliya replied her, laughing.

They sat chatting for a while, after which Sharon left the class, probably to meet her boyfriend Austin in the next class.

The third period bell rung, and everyone trooped out for Physics class in a haste, dreading their teacher, Mrs Mbakwo.

Maliya sat in her almost empty class, not in the mood to attend physics that day.

Apart from her, there were five other people in the class.

Three of them were boarders, crashing away the period under the creaky fan.

And the other two were the 'It' couple, Raymond and Ella.

Maliya laughed watching them cozy up to each other, whispering sweet nothings.

Being in a relationship was something he had never understood.

She had seen many of her classmates go crazy over guys and yet the idea of being in a relationship always repulsed her.

Just last week, one of her classmates, fondly called 'head boy' had bought his girlfriend a phone worth more than his school fees.

The boy, Chinwuba wasn't your typical definition of dark and handsome, but he was extremely rich, a fact about him that he hid well seeing as only few people knew.

He had been hung up on a particular girl, Maryjane in their class and had asked her out several times, but she always rejected him.

She would always look at him maliciously and hiss.

"Me?, marry a boy with ogo (idk how to translate this but closest is protruded head).

In my side ehnn, only men with six pack abs ask girls to date them"

After every confrontation,  he would leave the class with an unfocused look on his face.

The hatred everyone felt towards Maryjane hadn't ever been concealed,  because while he wasn't all that popular, the guy, Chinwuba was an extremely nice person.
