Chapter 22

Timeskip 2 days

Your POV

It's been a couple days since Angela and Fareeha visited me. Moira told me I was able to walk around now and that my body has almost fully healed. I still had bandages on, but that didn't really stop me. Once Angela heard the news from Moira about my condition she made sure that two guards accompanied me at all times. It's pretty annoying to be honest. The two never let me out of their sight, and the only place they didn't follow me was the bathroom. 

Anyway right now I was just wandering around the castle with the two men right behind me. I turned down a hallway before I heard a scream. My eyes widened as I recongized it-it was Reinhardt. 

"Reinhardt." I whispered under my breath

I ran, well more liked limped in the direction of the dungeon with the guards right on my tail. I placed my hand on the handle of entrance to the dungeon, but the guards stopped me. 

"Ma'am you're not allowed in there. The queen has forbid it." One of them spoke

The queen? That's a new nickname for Angela.

"I don't care. Let me in." 

"No."

"Fine. Have it your way." I growled 

I grabbed the closest guard's arm and slammed him into his buddy. They were quick to get up, and rushed me with their swords. I transformed into my second form and attacked the two of them. One of them swung his sword at my head, but I caught it between my teeth and crushed it. I swatted him with my paw, and he hit the wall across from me. He fell to the floor unconscious, and I focused my attention on the other one. It didn't take long to take him out, but as I transformed back into my human form the pain in my jaw hit me like a ton of bricks. I groaned in pain as I rubbed it, but nothing helped. I ignored the pain for now, and opened the door to the dungeon. I quickly walked down the stairs, and began to look in the cells for Reinhardt. Prisoners reached out to me, but I dodged their hands. At the very end of the hallway I finally found him. He looked horrible. He had cuts all over his face, stomach, and basically all over his body. Bruises were all over his face, and he had a black eye. 

"Reinhardt..." I whispered and the pain in my jaw soared 

He slowly looked up and his left eye widened in surprise.

 "Y/N!" He whispered with a smile on his face

I opened the cell door before running over to him. 

"W-What happened?" I asked him as my pain continued to build

"A-Angela. She sent some of her minions down here to do this to me. She did it at first, but she must've got bored." He scoffed and I helped him up

"And what do ya' think you're doing Y/N?"

I tensed as I heard the voice of JQ behind me. I turned around to see her, Zarya, and Brigitte standing in the entrance of the cell. I stood in front of Reinhardt protectively as they entered the cell. I bared my teeth at them and they rolled their eyes at me.

"Move aside Y/N or we'll have to tell Angela that you were down here...and trying to free Reinhardt." Zarya commanded

I shook my head and let out a deep warning growl. The alphas didn't like that one bit, and responded with growls of their own. JQ was more focused on the beat up man behind me, and anger was clear in her eyes.

"What did you say to her?" JQ demanded and Reinhardt looked at her with a stern glare

"I did nothing."

"Then why is she turning against us?" Brigitte growled

"You did that yourselves." 

We had a little stand off until Brigitte charged forward. I met her half way, and tackled her to the ground. I ended up on top of her and I began to punch her. She began to bleed from her mouth and nose, and at that moment I didn't feel an ounce of remorse for attacking my alpha. Although half way through my assault I was grabbed from behind. Zarya's scent filled my nose as she pulled me away from Brigitte. I thrashed and flailed in her arms and Brigitte was slow to get to her feet. Reinhardt charged at Zarya, but he didn't make it very far. JQ slammed her mace into his stomach, and I winced for him. He fell to his knees clutching his stomach. JQ didn't stop there and continued her assault on the poor man. I halted my movements as I watched the beating with horror. 

"Stop!" I cried and tried to lean forward, but Zarya didn't allow it, "He's had enough! Please stop!"

Surprisingly JQ stopped and left Rein a bloody mess on the floor. Tears were running down my face as she helped Brigitte up. A sob left my mouth as my eyes stayed on Rein. 

"Come on." Zarya spoke softly and carried me out of the cell 

I whimpered and grabbed the bars. 

"No. They have to leave with us." I spoke looking at JQ and Brigitte who were still in the cell

"Girls." Zarya growled looking over at the two, "Let's go."

With one last look at Rein they finally leave the cell locking the door behind them. Zarya set me down and gently placed her hand on my cheek. I let out a yelp as the pain surged in my jaw. 

"What's wrong?" Brigitte asked walking closer

I pointed at my jaw before making a pain motion with my hands.

"Your jaw?"

I nodded quickly and JQ looked over at Zarya, "Bring me the shards of the dead guard's sword. I have a feeling it isn't just plain metal." 

I killed one of them? Oh well. Zarya left and returned a few seconds later with the shards of the sword. JQ picked it up and examined it.

"As I thought." She glared at the shard before placing it back in Zarya's hand, "It's silver." 

Zarya's eyes widened and JQ removed the shards and stuffed it in her pocket.

"We're definitely have to report this to Angela." Brigitte sighed

"She's going to be pissed. Y/N just got better and now one of her guards just put her recovery process back a few days." JQ growled

"Then let's hurry up and get this over with." Zarya stated grabbing my arm and dragging me out of the dungeon.
