Her fist clenched a withered rose with anger. Streams of blue and red veins peeked out from her tense neck, slightly wet with the runoff of her tears.

Under the stormy colored skies was a gravestone, standing lonely in the middle of the grassy field. It was a dull gray slab, but the girl who's death it marked had been the exact opposite. [S/N] [L/N], the younger sister of [Name] [L/N], was a ray of sunshine in the darkness.

She had been bright and warm, and the absolute award-winning dazzling smile rivaled that of all the sunflowers in the world. But she was gone now, killed in a villain attack in the town center. And all that was left behind were distant memories of her voice, her face.

[Name]'s body hurt with grief and anger. Her mind was a chaotic swirl of thoughts. So much so, that she didn't realize that the air currents around her had started to pick up in speed. As the wind nipped at her uncovered [s/c] skin, it left little nicks. She paid no attention as the wind swept her tears away into oblivion.

Until it suddenly stopped. [Name] jerked out of her quirk frenzy as she felt a warm hand on her shoulder. It was firm and stable. Tensing up, the [h/c] haired girl debated on whether she should look or not until she finally gave in and turned around to meet fiery red eyes. They showed concern.

"[Name]," The boy whispered. He lifted his pale hand and gently cupped the girl's cheek, using his calloused thumb to wipe away the pain that manifested on her face in the form of tears.

"It was my fault," She broke down. "If I had been there in time-"

The boy silenced her with a quick pull. [E/c] eyes widening in surprise, [Name]'s face came into contact with a firm chest. His strong arms wrapped around her, giving her the warmth and stability she had been deprived of.

"It wasn't your fault," Kirishima said quietly.

And he let her cry it out. He stayed silent as he listened to her sobs and hiccups, muffled by his plain grey shirt, as much as it pained him to. She leaned against him, finally letting her guard down, and he supported her with his entire will.

And finally, she quieted down until she could hear the sound of his loving heartbeat. He stroked her hair gently and pulled away, looking down at her with those passionate, crimson eyes of his.

The sun started to come out from behind the clouds. The warmth soaked into the young teenager's skin, illuminating [Name]'s beautiful [e/c] eyes. Kirishima stared at them with wonder as he reached out to tuck a loose strand of [h/c] hair behind her ear. He leaned in and kissed the wind-induced scar on her forehead, smiling against her warm skin.

"[Name]... Please listen to me. It wasn't your fault. I know it's hard, but [S/N] wouldn't want you to be sad. So please, come with me. We'll go to my house and I'll make you something warm to eat. We can talk and cry, or we can just watch a movie together and laugh. Whatever you want. Let me take care of you."

❝I LOVE YOU, AND I PROMISE I WILL ALWAYS BE HERE FOR YOU.❞
