Chapter 20: The real 'date' starts now! (Part 1)

"K-Kacchan, this is...?" Izuku trailed off as he stares at the attraction with a nervous expression.

It was a mansion that was designed to look like it has been abandoned for years. There cracks on the window and the paint seems old and worn out. There's an eerie music playing from the inside of the house and Izuku can swear that he can hear some creepy laughing and giggling as well.

In short, Katsuki brought him to a haunted house attraction.

Looking at his phone, Katsuki doesn't know if he should be glad of pissed at Kaminari for giving him the advice that he didn't asked for. Still, as expected of a dating sim game pro, this Pik*chu really knows his stuff.

[Shitty Pik*chu: If you're stuck and don't know what to do, go to the haunted house! So that Midoriya can cling to you if he got scared!]

[Shitty Pik*chu: You can get to show him that you're a brave man who isn't scared of ghosts or monsters!]

[Shitty Pik*chu: After that, you can bring him to a quiet and relax place to calm him down! Show him that you can care for him even if you got a terrible personality and a rude mouth!]

If it wasn't for the useful advice, Katsuki would have murder Kaminari on the spot when he saw him the next time due to that last sentence.

Meanwhile, Izuku is also busy messaging Todoroki for help. To be honest, this is his first time going into a haunted house and he wasn't exactly sure on what he should be doing or what he can do in there other than letting people scaring the shit out of him...

[Todoroki-kun: You can act like you're scared and cling onto Bakugou.]

As expected of a shoujo manga artist, he really knows his stuff. But will Izuku be able to pull it off with his terrible acting skill? If he made it too obvious, Katsuki will definitely be able to tell that he's faking it. Let's hope that the people who are going to scares him did a good job in it.

Walking through the eerie silent hallway, Izuku gulped when he saw how creepy the place is. There are small candles lining up against the wall, giving them enough light to see. Despite knowing that the bloodstains on the wall are fake, Izuku couldn't help but to become wary of it. Even though the hallway are empty and there's nothing ahead, it still feels like something to going to appear out of nowhere.

Then, there was a loud scream and both Katsuki and Izuku flinched.

"K-Kacchan!"

"Must be the people who enter before us."

"Oh, I-I see..."

The two continue to walk forward slowly until something round fall from the ceiling and landed in front of them with a 'thud'. At first, they thought it was something like a ball but in the next second, they quickly released what that 'round' thing is.

A freaking doll head. With one of the eyes missing.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH—!!" Izuku screamed and without thinking, he latch onto Katsuki's arm while staring at the doll's head in horror.

As for Katsuki, he was caught off guard by the stupid doll head. And mind you, he wasn't scared by it, not at all! In fact, he might even attack it if Izuku didn't cling onto him while screaming like a girl.

And this is the part where the choices will appear in the dating sim game. The three choices will be something along the line like, 'don't be afraid, I'm here', 'you can hold onto me if you're scared' and 'wow, you're such a coward.'

Only a real bastard would go for the last choice but then again, if Katsuki were to go for the first two options... it would be 'out of character' for him! Izuku isn't that much of an idiot and he'd definitely find it weird for Katsuki to say 'nice' things to him!
