Chapter 39: Get the hint already!

[One: Be honest and tell Kirishima that you're into men too while giving him your best charming look.]

[Two: Play dumb, joke about it and avoid the topic completely for the rest of the date.]

[Three: Just confess to Kirishima by screaming at him that he's the one you like.]

Those are the three choices Todoroki gave Kaminari. Frankly, choice number two is clearly the safest one to pick. But Kaminari won't be able to move out of the 'friend zone' route if he were to keep playing dumb and running away. There's no way that he can confess to Kirishima right now either.

So there's only one choice left.

It'll be alright. Kirishima is a super good guy so he won't view him differently or think of him in a negative way.

"You got it wrong, Kirishima. It's true that I'm a little jealous but it's because of a totally different reason." Kaminari admitted, looking up at the ceiling while doing a pose by placing a hand on his hip. To be honest, he has no idea how to give Kirishima his best 'charming look' but he'll just do whatever he think that makes him the most charming. Even though he got the feeling that this isn't right.

"What do you mean?"

"What will you do if..." Kaminari trailed off and turn his gaze back to Kirishima, looking at him with a serious expression. "I were to tell you that I'm into guys?"

"What?"

"To tell the truth, I just discovered that I'm into men."

"Then what kind of guy do you like?"

"Are you fucking serious?!" Kaminari thought as he stare at Kirishima with a dumbfounded look. Yeah, he said a bad word but he don't give a shit about it right now. While it was good that Kirishima accept it like it wasn't anything serious and didn't look at Kaminari with a look of disgust or anything else, he still wanted to facepalm, scream at the top of his lungs like Katsuki, flip a table high up into the sky and then throw himself into a black hole.

As if Todoroki sensed what Kaminari wanted to do, he quickly reassure him and told him not to lose heart and try to drop another hint.

"I think those that has six pack are hot as fuck."

"Dude, Bakugou is already dating Midoriya."

"This again?! First it was Midoriya and now it was you?! Is Bakugou the one and only man that has muscles and six pack to you guys?!" Kaminari internally retorted.

He flinched when he felt a strong murderous intent in the air around them. He can feel a pair of eyes staring at him intensely and he know who the person that's staring at him is. If look could kill, Kaminari would probably be dead now.

"You stupid but handsome shark! What's the point in trying to get Midoriya to kill me off before I can get to confess to you?!"

From the earpiece, Kaminari can hear Todoroki trying to calm Izuku down and reassuring him that nobody is trying to snatch his 'Kacchan' away for him. Thank god for Todoroki, he seriously save Kaminari here. Holy shit that was freaking scary. The class number one cinnamon roll is starting to become really dangerous.

There's no doubt about it. This has to be Katsuki's influence.

"How did you reach that conclusion?! I won't go after someone who nearly beat me to a pulp!!" Kaminari retorted.

"Right, you got a point." Kirishima smiled sheepishly, slightly embarrassed that he got it wrong. And he's glad that he got it wrong. He wouldn't know what he should if Kaminari really is in love with Katsuki. To begin with, the idea of Kaminari crushing on Katsuki feels horribly wrong. "Then who do you like? If there's someone you're crushing on, please tell me. I'll help you to win his heart."
