Love isn't as easy as making Manga! (BakuDeku)

Chapter 25.5: Being sick is troublesome after all

Green eyes slowly opens and stares at the ceiling with a blank look. This isn't the first Izuku caught a cold and it won't be the last. He can never forget how terrible it feels like whenever he got sick. It's boring when he doesn't have anything to do other than lying down on the bed. No matter how much Izuku wanted to move, his body doesn't has the strength to do it.

"Finally awake huh." An unamused voice said.

Turning his gaze to the person standing at the door, Izuku muttered weakly. "Kacchan... you're feeling better already?"

"Yeah. Unlike you, my body is stronger since I've been working out." Katsuki grumbled and he steps into the room, closing the door behind him as he went over to the bed and sits down on the edge.

"I guess that makes sense... Kacchan is really amazing after all. I'm really amazed to see that you still can have the strength to work out even though we're both busy with school and our manga at the same time." Izuku said with a small smile, silently glad that Katsuki is now better and well.

"Because I'm the best and I can do anything I wanted. Anyway, my old hag will bring a bowl of porridge up later so eat that and then take your medicine. After that, sleep and get better. If not, I'll fucking kill you."

"Yeah, I know." Izuku nodded and smiled. "But I still need to tell my mother."

"We've already informed your mother to put her at ease so it's fine."

"I see. By the way, how's the new chapter coming up? Did they finish everything?"

"...!" Katsuki flinched at that question and looked away from Izuku. There's no way in hell that he's going to tell him what happened to their manga. The poor nerd will pass out from the shock for sure if he were to saw what those three idiots has done.

The only thing that is perfectly done is the screentone, even though it was used wrongly at the wrong timing. By asking Kirishima, Katsuki found out that the dumb Pik*chu was the one behind it and he was surprisingly good with screentone. If it doesn't bother Kaminari, Katsuki wouldn't mind letting him to join in and help out next time. And this time, there won't be any more misplaced screentone.

"Kacchan?"

"..."

Based on Katsuki's reaction, Izuku immediately knew that his friends must have messed up really badly, to the point that Katsuki doesn't even want to talk, complain, curse, scream or shout about it. The only part that was left unfinished is screentone and the character's dialogue so what could go so horribly wrong? It's not like his friends will use the wrong screentone, put in weird lines or turn it into a shoujo manga.

"Kacchan?! What happened to the manga?!" Izuku raised his voice unintentionally. Seeing that Katsuki isn't going to tell him, Izuku force his body up into a sitting position. Izuku would have went over to Katsuki's room to check on their manga if the Katsuki didn't push him back down onto the bed, crawl on top of him, grabbing both of his wrist and pinning it down beside his head while straddle him so that he couldn't leave the bed.

Both of them didn't noticed how wrong their position is as the only in their mind is 'I need to see the manga' and 'I cannot let him see the manga'.

"You don't need to know! A sick nerd like you should just stay in bed and fucking rest unless you want me to murder your stupid ass!"

"But what about the manga, Kacchan?!"

"Don't talk about that right now, Deku! Stop making me remember all those fucking shit!"

"It's was that bad?! Let me take a look!!"

"You'll fucking regret it! For the sake of your stupid health, do not look unless you want a get a fucking heart attack-" Katsuki froze when he heard the door swing open, followed by his mother's voice.

"Katsuki! Stop shouting at Izuku before I confiscate your prized photo album of-" Mitsuki paused when she saw the scene ahead of her. From Mitsuki's view, all she can see is her son pinning his childhood friend (and crush) down onto the bed while straddling him. Did Katsuki finally lost his patient to wait and decide to go for the 'attack'?

Wow, this shitty son of hers is such a hungry beast.

As calming as she can, she place the tray with the porridge and medicine down on top the drawer beside the door and gives Katsuki an unapproved look. "Katsuki, I don't know what happened in here but can't you wait until Izuku is feeling better before you went and 'do' it?"

Izuku blinked as he stares at Mitsuki with a confused look, not being able to comprehend what she meant by those words. As for Katsuki, his face turns bright red from the misunderstanding his mother had about them. Why is it that everyone seems to think that he's the type that would skip through the dating part and head straight for the 'home run'?!

"What the fuck are you talking about old hag?! This is not what it looks like or whatever the fuck you're thinking!!"

"Yeah, yeah. For the time being, get off Izuku and learn to control yourself for now."

Just as Mitsuki close the door on them, Katsuki shouted at the top of his lungs. "LIKE I SAID THIS IS NOT WHAT IT FUCKING LOOKS LIKE!!"
