Chapter 37: Starting the Kirishima route

Once school ended, Kaminari eyed the two aquarium tickets that he left under the table. He look over his shoulder and saw Kirishima putting away his textbooks. For a very obvious reason, Kaminari can feel Todoroki staring at him very intensely. Oh, he can feel Izuku curious gaze on him as well.

"Don't look at me like that guys! You're making me nervous damn it!" Kaminari internally retorted.

The plan is to act normal and ask Kirishima to go out to the aquarium with him and it sounds like an easy thing to do. But with the eyes of his friends on him, the pressure is no joke!

How does someone ask their crush out normally again?!

(Flashback, during the lunch time when they are having their talk...)

"For starting, try to spend more time with Kirishima like asking him to go out somewhere. There are characters who fall for each other the more time they spend with each other." Todoroki suggested.

"I see." Kaminari nodded.

"At the same time, try to maintain eye contact and listen to the things he's telling you. If you got the chance, you can touch him-"

"Wouldn't that be molesting?!" Kaminari exclaimed in shock, cutting Todoroki off mid-sentence.

"...I never ask you go that far. Please get your head out of the gutter, Kaminari."

"S-sorry."

"I see that Mineta's influence on Kaminari-kun is rather deep." Izuku thought.

"Anyway, just like how you fall for his smile, you should try to smile more often when you're with him." Todoroki said.

"I think I can at least do that much. But telling me to ask Kirishima to go out somewhere now is a little difficult. I don't know where we can go-"

This time, Todoroki is the one who cut Kaminari off mid-sentence. He pull out the tickets from his pocket with a deadly serious expression. "I got two aquarium tickets with me. You can have it."

"Why do you even have it with you?!" Kaminari retorted.

"I was planning to give it to Midoriya and get him to ask Bakugou out on a date but you need it more."

Izuku flinched when he heard what Todoroki just said. His classmate just openly admitted that he's going to set Izuku and Katsuki up on a date. He has mixture feelings about this but... he doesn't really hate it. In fact, it would be great if he and Katsuki can go on a date as a real couple this time. But then again...

Todoroki will be there to watch Izuku and Katsuki's every move.

Kaminari receive the tickets from Todoroki and frowned. "How am I supposed to ask Kirishima out?"

"It's not that difficult. Just remember to remain calm and act normal when you're asking him out."

Reaming calm and act normal when asking Kirishima out... in another words, Kaminari just have to act like how he usually does. Okay, that's sound easy enough. To be honest, Kaminari don't think that he can screw up something so simple like this. This should be a piece of cake for him! A walk in the park!

Turning around in his seat to face Kirishima (and almost hit his elbow against the table), Kaminari winked and smiled (rather unnaturally) while doing his favorite double thumb up gesture. "Yo, how are you doing, my pal! I happened to get my hands on two aquarium tickets! Do you wanna go with me tomorrow? It's going to be really fun, ya know! Let's enjoy our youth to the best while we still can!"
