Chapter 19: The 'Cupids' behind the scene

For the first time in Kaminari's life, this is probably the most awkward situation that he has gotten himself in. It wasn't an everyday event where you are trailing after your friends secretly while trying to bring them together and then run into your classmates a few minutes later. But thankfully, he's not alone in this because Kirishima is also with him. Everyone would have continue to stare at each other if it wasn't for Kirishima who break the silent.

"What a coincidence to meet you guys here! Did everyone came here to have fun as well?"

"Yup! Yaomomo has never been to an amusement park before so both I and Todoroki decide to bring her here!" Ashido replied. She wasn't fond of lying to her own friends but it would be a bad idea if Kirishima and Kaminari were to found out about the fact that they are following Izuku and Katsuki. Getting mistaken as a stalker or a creep by her friends is one of the worse things that could happen to her and Yaoyorozu. As for Todoroki...

He doesn't seems to mind what other people think or feel about him so maybe it might be fine for him? Either way, she doesn't want these two to see them chasing after Izuku and Katsuki so she'll have to tell Kirishima and Kaminari that they are actually here in a group of five.

"Did the three of you came here alone?" Kaminari asked.

"T-to tell the truth, we're here with another two good buddies!" Ashido said.

"R-really? That's the same as us!" Kaminari smiled nervously. Oh god, it wasn't Ashido, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki that they has to look out for? Who is the other two that they came here with? Anyway, it would be bad if his classmates were to saw them following Izuku and Katsuki so they would have to lie that they are here with the angry blond head and the innocent green bean!

"We came here together with Bakugou and Midoriya!"

And there was a long silent between them. While it was amazing that they speak at the same timing with the exactly same words, both of them did a freaking job great in shooting their own foot.

"You're here to spy on them as well?! " both Kaminari and Ashido mentally retorted, facepalm at their own stupidity.

The mood has gotten really awkward when it becomes clear that both sides are clearly here to spy on Katsuki and Izuku's 'date'. The reason behind their actions... well, it looks like some explanation is needed.

With Izuku and Katsuki lining up at the queue for the roller coaster, the group can now 'chat' with each other without the need to keep an eye out for the two 'not-yet-couple'. While Yaoyorozu, Ashido, Kirishima and Kaminari is explaining the whole situation and story to each other, Todoroki has been staring at the bright red shoe that Kirishima is wearing.

"He's wearing crocs..." Todoroki thought.

"So basically, Midoriya's affection for Bakugou is already on the MAX but is too shy to do a thing about it?" Kaminari asked.

"Yup!" Ashido nodded happily, silently glad that she doesn't have to lie to her friends anymore. On a side note, it's great that they have gotten themselves more 'helpers' to aid them in bring Katsuki and Izuku together!

"And you guys already knows that Midoriya already has feelings for Bakugou long ago?" Kirishima questioned.

"To be more accurately, Todoroki-san is the first one to notice it and we only found out about it later on. He talked to Midoriya-san about it before and now we're all trying to help him." Yaoyorozu replied.
