About a couple of minutes later the bell rang for the end of first period and rushed out of the class as fast as possible since my face was still red from tom looking at me. In the hallways making my way to second period I accidentally bump into someone with out looking.
"I'm sorry" I apologized immediately, once I saw who I bumped into it was a big mistake as it was the school bully Flash.
"Watch where you going loser!" He shouts and pushes you against the lockers which makes you fall to ground and he leaves luckily. I slowly start getting up when I hear someone asking
"Do you need a hand?" I look to see it's tom holding out his hand to help me. You grab his hand and get pulled back onto your feet.
"Th..thank you" you say while looking down at your feet all all nervously
"It's a pleasure let me walk you to class so you don't bump into anymore people" He says with a a little laugh
God his laugh is so adorable and did tom just offer to walk me class this is going to be another good day!
"sure" you reply with your cheeks go all red once again
God dammit why do I have blush so much?
The walk to class with tom was slightly awkward since I couldn't say anything but it was really nice. The silence broke when tom started a small conversation.
"So Y/N do you have any siblings?"
"N..no I'm an only child what about you?"
"I have four younger siblings a pair of twins which are Sam, Harry and Paddy the youngest of the four of us. I've noticed you quite quiet and stutter a bit don't you why is that?" He asked while staring straight at you.
"Oh I..I'm sorry...I'm just not very good at speaking to people and a little bit shy when it comes down to it"
"I see that explains why you always in your own little world I think it's quite cute"He says the last part softly hoping I wouldn't notice
"wh..wh..what?" I ask extremely nervously not sure if I heard correctly and my heart was beating so fast but as soon as I said that the bell rings for class to start.
"I should get going don't want be late" he quickly runs of to class
Did tom just say I cute? noways I have to be imaging it cause isn't he straight?
I go to class and can't concentrate for the rest of the day cause of what happened and started walking home after school by myself as per usual since Jess always has after school activities. When I got home I go take a shower and do some of my homework so it would be finished for the day and can relax for the rest of it. Once I finished I heard foot steps running up the stairs to my room I knew who it was immediately since Jess always comes over unannounced. My door slams open when Jess comes in with the biggest grin on her face.
"So what between you and tom today I saw him helping and walking you to class?" she says with grin plastered on her face
"What nothing is happening between tom and I he was just being kind like with everyone" My cheeks go slightly pink
"Oooh I can see there's something there and plus during the whole thing your face was a bright as tomato especially before the bell rang it was hilarious" she says laughing
"Oh no I must have looked like such an idiot...but maybe he called cute before he quickly rushed to class" I say softly playing with my fingers
"OH MY GOD Y/N tom definitely likes you!" she says with smirk
"What no that's crazy I'm a nobody at school and nobody notices especially tom hes like one of the most popular kids in school plus if I remember correctly he is straight."
"Maybe he is maybe hes not but I definitely can see there is something and something has to happen soon cause you guys look super cute walking in school today" She says smiling
"That something isn't going to happen sadly and I don't want to give my hopes up know"
"Well you never know Y/N anything can happen but I have to go so don't go thinking about tom kissing you" she says quickly leaving the room and closing the door
When she left my face went blood red from what she said and why does she always have to tease me like this you know. I got up and started watching my favorite series Doctor Who to keep my mind distracted and headed off to bed after two episodes.
