We made our way up the stairs before splitting off; I went to what I assumed was the teenager's room (the door had those signs that stated he wanted privacy in a rude way), while Mac and Owen went to the little boys room, and Emily took Sophia into the little girl's room.

I closed the door behind me as quietly as I could, having gotten into the habit of behind quiet. I looked around the room. The single person bed was up against the wall in the corner, a nightstand next to it. There were a dresser and bookshelf up against a wall and a desk on the wall next to them; all three pieces of furniture were full of small collectible action figures and books. Posters were all over the walls where the furniture wasn't.

I put my backpack on the bed and made my way to the dresser and started looking around inside, pulling out some clothes before holding them up to myself to see if they looking like they'd fit me. I threw off my backpack and put it on the floor next to the stripped bed, putting my jacket and ax next to it before kneeling down and opening my bag. I started looking at what I put in it from long ago when we were still at the store. I pulled out three small first aid kits and set them on the bare bed, going back to the bag and pulling more out. In total, I had the three first aid kits, some over the counter medicines I recognized from when my parents would buy them, quite a few packages of bandaids, gauze, and other things that fit the category. I had three water bottles, one of them empty. I also had my dad's old multitool he gave me, along with a map of the city we had been in.

I took a step back and went back to the dresser, pulling out some pants before trying them on. They seemed to fit, even though I had to find a belt to use. I placed them next to the contents I had taken out of my bag before going back to the dresser and finding the shirts. I pulled out a few t-shirts, two long-sleeved shirts, and a tank top. I put on one of the long sleeve shirts, putting one of the t-shirts over it before tying my jacket around my waist.

I started stuffing everything back into my bag, and before zipping it up and leaving, I decided to look around the room a bit more. I made my way to the bookshelf and looked at the contents on the shelves. I went straight for the books and grabbed a few that I thought seemed interesting, including one of bedtime stories and one of mythology. Before I went back to my bag, I took one last look at the action figures before grabbing one. This one had a white mask, a crossbow hanging from its back and hatchets in its hands. I went back to my bag and stuffed them in, finally zipping it up and leaving the room.

I peeked into the room Mac and Owen had gone into, seeing if they were in there before actually going in. At seeing me, Mac's face lit up and she ran over to give me a hug. Once she let me go, I finally got a good look at them; Owen had changed, the clothes looking a little too big on him, but Mac hadn't changed. I gave her a questioning look, "Why aren't you changed yet?"

She glanced at the dresser and Owen, seeming to give the idea of boys clothes a death glare, "I don't want to wear boy clothes."

"Why not? I am. You can match me."

Her eyes managed to lighten up even more than they were already, "Yes!" She bolted to the dresser and started pulling out clothes.

I took a look around the room; it looked like it belonged to a ten-year-old boy. I took a look back at the kids, Mac was changing by the dresser while Owen watched me. "Why don't we find some backpacks and maybe pack up some clothes to take with us?"

Mac nodded, speaking once she was done getting dressed, "Yes. I was about to suggest that myself. It's a good idea, but I only see one bag in here."

I gave her a skeptical look before dismissing her. She probably just wants to think she's contributing.

"I think I saw another bag in the room I was in, let me go get it." I left the room and returned in a few moments, holding a brown and blue bag. I held it up and grabbed the other bag that was hanging on a hook by the door before holding it up as well. This bag was blue and seemed to have sharks and fish on it. "Who wants which bag?"

Owen went straight for the sea life one, leaving the brown and blue one for the other girl in the room. Once, they had their new bags, they started stuffing more clothes into them. I just stood and watched them, "You could probably grab some toys as well. If you want; I grabbed some books out of the other room I was in."

In no time, everyone had managed to get changed and went back downstairs. Carl and Matt had raided the parent's room, along with Emily once she was done with Sophia. We put our bags on the floor against the wall by the front door before laying down in the blankets and pillows laid on the floor of the living room.
