We eventually got all the supplies we could from the apartment building, it only being four stories there weren't many places to look. We lugged our bags down the stairs, having to stop multiple times to make sure I didn't drop anything.

Dropping our stuff by the door to the outside, Carl knocked on the door of the apartment Steven and his family had been hiding out. He peeked out the door before opening it, realizing it was just us, "Time to leave?"

Carl nodded, "You have your stuff together?"

"Yea."

He herded his wife and kids out the door before leaving himself. Emily was armed with a kitchen knife while Steven still had his shotgun. We lead them to the door to grab our new bags, them helping. We carried them through the street, staying in the center of the street as not be snuck up on by an infected.

Eventually, we finally reached our car. That was when we realized everyone might not fit, but we didn't have the time to go back and look for a car and car keys; we were supposed to be back by sundown and the sun was starting to set. We set our bags into the trunk, keeping our weapons on us as we packed in; Carl driving, me in the passenger seat, and the family of four like sardines in the back row.

Carl started driving. It was a good hour-hour and a half before we made it back to camp, it getting dark out. The main campfire was lit and Matt was cooking dinner.

We unpacked ourselves out of the car before grabbing our things from the trunk. Carl and I carried our bags to beside the fire and joined Matt by the fire.

We sat there for a few minutes before Carl got up, grabbing the bags to go put them away with our other supplies. I looked around the camp, seeing the new family seeming to be getting themselves situated. Mary was helping them get their tent set up while their kids and Mac were getting to know each other. It was nice seeing her have kids to hang out with again.

Before I could think of anything else about, Matt called out for everyone to come to eat dinner. It seemed like after he saw we had brought more people, he instantly made extra for them.

We all gathered around the fire to chow down.
