Amazing Grace

Weekends come and go
Sunday's never spent alone.
Applying make up
And buttons ups
To impress not only ourselves
But people we will
Surround each other with.
Hand holding in the choir,
Singing God'a Amazing Grace
Two keys off.
Tears spring to my eyes,
Now that I have you by my side.
The preacher talks about
Heaven or Hell
And I just pray to God
You know where
Your home will be.
I hope we share a mansion
Along the streets of gold.
No worries in the world
But only to please our Lord,
God Almighty.
White doves cover our
Dogwood trees in the backyard,
Next to a field of
Yellow, strong sunflowers.
Will you take my hand
With the lily of the valley in my palm?
