Zak POV

I walked back to the B and B after I left Avery's and met up with the guys who were all again, in the dining area eating lunch. They all went silent as I walked up, looking at me intently. A small smile began to show on Aaron's lips and I knew he was going to give me shit.

"Finally crawled out of bed huh? We thought we were going to have to peel you away from her pretty soon."

"Shut up Aaron." I smiled quickly but returned to all seriousness. "We are about to set up for the most insane investigation we have ever done in the history of Ghost Adventures. Are you guys ready for this?"

"We're ready." They all said in unison.

We headed over to the house, parking on the side of the road and awaited Declan's arrival. When he pulled up he had a bit of fear in his eyes and hesitated before getting out of the truck. He put on a fake smile and waved us over to the gate. I watched as he opened the lock, pushing the gate open and stepping aside. I hadn't realized I had been holding my breath the entire time.

"Welcome to hell. I'll lock up behind you guys and if you need me to come by early, I can. Ms. Bell should be home too, so if you can't reach me you can reach her." He said all in one long breath.

Aaron began to chuckle, elbowing me in the side as Avery's name came up and Declan immediately showed concern in his eyes.

"Did I miss the joke?" He asked waiting for one of us to answer.

"Zak wouldn't mind going to speak with Avery. Hopefully it won't take all night like last time though." Aaron laughed loudly as jealousy flashed through Declan's eyes.

"Anyway, thank you for everything and we will see you in the morning." I said watching the jealousy vanish from his eyes.

"No problem. Oh and Zak?" He spoke as he locked the gate from the other side.

"Yeah?"

"These woods are pretty big. Pretty isolated. Remember that." I knew he was referring to me doing something to hurt Avery. He then turned away, driving off into nowhere.

We all stood in the driveway, looking up to the house, realizing this was it. We were about to throw ourselves into literal hell and for the first time in my entire life, I was actually afraid of what might happen to us inside.

The guys showed slight fear in their eyes as we began setting up our equipment and nerve center just outside. It was strange. During the whole process of setting up, I could feel nothing. No energy, no spirits, nothing. It's like they were all waiting to make their appearance. We all met outside, at nerve center as the sky turned dark.

"Alright so this is it guys. The Bell House. I don't know what will happen in there or what we will capture, but just be careful and don't let your guard down. Nothing has happened yet, which actually scares me a bit because we've experienced so much here before just by standing nearby. I have a feeling things will come to life soon, so just watch yourselves. Jay will cover nerve center and we will go inside get a feel for the place, do some live recordings and go from there."

"Alright sounds good man." Billy said as he grabbed his camera.

We geared up and began walking towards the house, which was weirdly quite. I was the first one to place my feet on the front steps and they creaked slightly beneath me. The wind started to pick up around us, bringing a child's laughter to our ears. We froze in place, listening to our surroundings. After a short while, we continued on and I opened the front door.

Upon opening the door, the scent of fresh linen and flowers hit my nose. The house was cold and white sheets lay across the furniture. The grand stair case sat to the left side of us, twisting up into darkness. From what I could make out, the house was exquisite, just as it was on the outside.  It reeled you in and every small detail stuck out to you.
