It was late at night. Me and dad was on a ship making sure there was no crew members entering the country illegally. We get to a man named Abog Galib. The agent checking the passports looks at me and handed me the man's passport. I take a look at it.
"Everything looks in order." I said.
"But sir, we have no record of a Abog Galib entering the country." said the agent.
"That means this is a false passport." I said looking up at the man.
The man took off running. "I got him!" dad said running after him.
Of course I didn't follow him. I knew dad could catch him no problem. That was until a few minutes later, a bomb went off. I evacuated everybody off the ship and to safety as paramedics and firefighters head onto the ship where the bomb blast came from. My gut feeling came back, and that means something bad happened. I look back at the car where Tim, Tony, and Ziva were as they got out of the car. They had a terrible look on their faces. I then noticed that dad hadn't come out yet. My eyes widen and I run back onto the ship as fast as I possibly could and I see the paramedics put my dad onto a stretcher. I help them get him out to the ambulance. I look at the team.
"You guys know what to do. I'll keep you posted." I said as I hopped into the ambulance with the paramedics and my dad.
We get to the hospital and they take him to a room and begin to work on him. I stood outside the room watching and observing. Dad looked like he had been through hell. I didn't like seeing him like this. I then look over to see Jenny and Abby walking over to me.
"How is he Robin?" Jenny asked.
"I don't know yet. I'm still waiting for the doctor." I replied.
Abby didn't say anything as she gave me a big hug. I smile a bit and hug her back. I love her hugs. The doctor then walked out of the room as I stop hugging Abby and turn towards him.
"He's suffered a concussion but there are no signs of intracerebral hemorrhaging." the doctor said.
"He's going to be ok, though, right?" Abby asked.
"He should be fine." the doctor replied.
"I don't want to hear should be! I want to hear will be!" Abby yelled.
"Abby." I said.
"Should be is not positive." Abby said.
"Enough, Abbs." Jenny said.
Me and the doctor walked into the room.
"I want to see what's under the hood. Hold the sedation. And call me when he wakes." the doctor told the nurse.
The nurse simply nodded.
"I'm always positive, Robin, But with a concussion, until... until he wakes, no one knows what's going on inside his brain." the doctor said.
"Thanks doc." I said.
I walked over to my dad and sat next to him in the chair next to his bed. He looked like he was sleeping, like he was dreaming. I was hoping it wasn't a nightmare.
Jenny stayed with me and dad through the night. Me and her both didn't get any sleep, even though she encouraged me to sleep. She gets a call from Tony, but I didn't really pay attention to the conversation. I just wanted my dad to wake up. I needed him to wake up. I can't lose him too. If I lose him, I don't know what I would do.
Jenny eventually left later on in the day. I knew she didn't want to leave me alone, but I wanted the bastard that did this to my dad caught more than anything. I didn't really want the details of the case, mainly because I'm physically and emotionally drained and I knew that I couldn't handle the case right now. I often stood up and walked around the room to stretch my legs, look out the window, and use the restroom. I didn't leave his side one time. The nurse knew I was more concerned about my dad than I was my own health, so she would bring me a soda or a bottle of water and some food. I was grateful for that too.
