Shraddha's POV
I see Alia's mum approaching us. "Your not staying alone with Anjali now and that is final!"
"Told you!" Alia smirks. "Your getting out of that apartment."
"But Aunty I-" she cuts me off.
"Shraddha I've spoken to your parents and your just like Alia to me your literally my second daughter and I want what's best for you so you absolutely can not argue with your second mother can you?!" She raises her eyebrow and Alia stands beside her doing the same.
"Where will I stay?" I ask.
"That's the best part! With me!" Alia flips her hair.
"With you and Varun?! I do not think so I don't wanna be grossed out 24/7 and Anjali's underaged to see all that. So I'm rejecting that offer!"
"No your not! From today your packing all your stuff from your apartment and shifting it to Alia's! A key will be made for you too!" She says and then talks about the business Alia suggested to take up.
"So you girls up for it? You can re name it also. It's a great opportunity." Auntys says. "and I know for a fact that you two will make it a better business than what it used to be!"
"I'm up for it it's just Shrads." Alu says turning to me.
Both mother and daughter stare at me waiting for an answer. It is a better job and a fresh start so let's just go for it. "You both won't give up till I agree will you?"
"No!" They state in sync.
"Fine I'm in!" I say knowing they won't give up.
"Yayyyy!!!" Alia cheers hugging me tightly.
Then we rush to the apartment and start packing up while Anjali stays with Kriti. After packing we make sure to double check everything so nothings left behind.
"Alu you sure you want me staying with you? I don't wanna be invading your and Varun's privacy!" I say.
"If that was the case would I even ask you to come stay with me?" She says in a annoyed tone. "Stop being stupid Shraddha this is a opportunity for us both!"
I nod and tape all the boxes labelling them. We then load all the boxes in the car and head to Alia's. As I carry a box to the apartment I stumble and nearly drop the box.
"Oops be careful." I see a masculine figure grab hold of the box.
"Thanks." I say improving my grip on it.
"Sid! When did you come?" I can feel his gaze fixed on me as I look down.
"I came to help Varun with something. Do you ladies need some help!" He asks clearly seeing me and Alia struggling to carry the heavy boxes .
"Yes thank you! Let me get that duffer to help aswell!" She goes into the apartment.
"I'll take the box." He says taking it off me. "You can relax, are the rest in the car?" He asks entering the apartment."
"Yeah." I hand him the keys.
"OWWWW!" Our heads snap towards the apartment hearing Varun scream.
"Instead of sitting on your lazy ass help us like a gentleman you idiot!" Alia smacks him.
"You can say it without being violent!" He pouts.
"No because you go deaf when you watch tv and listen to no one!" She rolls her eyes.
"Excuse me!" Varun retorts.
"Here they go again!" Says Sid and we chuckle.
As they argue Sid and I bring the rest of the boxes up together ourselves. "That's all of them right?"
I nod "thank you."
"Shraddha let's go get the rest of the boxes I don't want to argue with this lazy ass!" Alia says coming towards me.
"Too late we already brought all of the boxes up." Sid and I say in unison and share a smile.
"Ok let's unpack then." Alia tips the tape off a box.
"Right I'm gonna go I'll catch you guys later!" Sid says taking his keys.
There was something about him that was just so unique. He then takes his leave and we unpack everything and set the room up which will be mine and Anjali's.
"Finally all done!" Alia and I flop down tiredly on the couch.
"That was a mission!" Alia exclaims.
"Tell me about it!" I say clipping my hair up.
"Let's freshen up then we'll order food and chill?" She asks.
"Sounds good!" I say and we do so.
We order take away and eat in our pyjamas.
"So are you two excited to be working together?" Varun asks.
"Well duh! Working with your best friend is obviously going to be amazing and a fun experience!" Alia states.
"I feel sorry for your clients!" Varun shakes his head.
"Why?" I ask confused at his expression.
"Dumb and dumber will be organising their events and weddings." He laughs hysterically.
Alia hits him with a pillow to shut up him.
He starts laughing which annoys Alia and she keeps hitting him with a pillow. "Your so not funny you idiot!"
I call Kriti.
"Hey Kriti when will you drop Anj?" I ask taking a sip of my drink.
"Shrads I was just about to call you! She's fallen asleep so let her stay the night? I'll drop her off in the morning if that's ok?" She says.
"Yeah that's totally fine! Just make sure you sleep with her she gets scared if the dark sometimes." I saying putting something away in the kitchen.
"I will don't worry! See you tomorrow!" She ends the call.
I go back into the living room to see the love birds about to have a moment. "Ahem!" I clear my throat making them jump.
Alia blushes.
"She's gone red like a tomato!" I laugh "but there's a bedroom you know!" I mock them.
"We'll see when the love of your life comes!" Varun retorts.
I'm not really thinking about finding someone my focus is going to be the business and Anjali there's no time for a relationship in between and they don't always work out so what's the point? And on top of that they're a big responsibility and I don't think I'm up for another responsibility piling up on me.
Alia's POV
I look at Shraddha and she's lost in her thoughts. I snap her out of it by handing her a pen and paper.
"What's this for?" She asks.
"Well I think we should start brainstorming ideas for our company name and everything else! Don't you partner?" I smile.
I sit down next to her and we start discussing and sharing our ideas.
Suddenly Varun's phone rings he goes to the side to answer it it.
"WHAT?!" Varun shouts startling both Shraddha and I soon we see tears streaming down his face which does not give me a good feeling.
Here's the second chapter guys!
