chapter 6

Bethany's POV

I woke up the next day and ma was sitting on my bed

"Your gonna be late sweetheart"she said with a smile

"I'm not going today"I told her and rolled on the other side of the bed

"And why not?"she asked me

"I'm sick"I said She placed her hand on my forehead

"You don't have a fever"she said

"Honey tell me what's wrong"she said she laid next to me I faced her

"I'm just not  feeling well"I told her she brushed the hair from my face

"Okay you'll stay home today but your gonna go tomorrow "she said

"Thank you ma"I smiled

"Your welcome but your gonna do some chores "she said getting up She kissed my forehead

"I will"I said she left my room and I was by my self I started to clean my room

Elvis POV

I went to Bethany's locker and she didn't show up I went to find Lisa

"Hey Lisa do you know where Bethany is?"i asked her we were walking to lunch

"No she never called me she always dose when she misses school "she said

"Do you think something is wrong"I said she shrugged

"I don't know she would have said something "she said Johnny came up to Lisa and kissed her

"There you are"Johnny said Lisa smiled

"Hey where's Bethany? "Johnny asked me

"I don't know I couldn't find her"I said

"Oh"Johnson said I saw him smile

After school I went straight to Bethany's house I knocked on the door and no answer I waited then did again then she opened the door

"Hey"I smiled

"Hi"she said looking down

"You weren't at school today "I said she paled

"Well I got a little sick"she said she rubbed her shoulder I walked in and she shut the door I saw a bruise on her arm

"What happened ?"I asked pointing are her arm

"Um I fell"she said I lifted her shirt up she blushed

"What are all these?"I asked her tears fell down her face.

"I can't tell you"she said

"Why can't you"I said

"Because he'll find out"she cried

"Who will?"I asked she shook her head

"I can't say"she said She came to me and hugged me tightly

"You have to trust me E I can't say anything"she mumbled I stroked her hair

"Bethany??? "I here on the other side of the door

"Elvis that's him you have to hide"she whispered

"What no I'm not going to"I said

"Elvis trust me please hid or he'll kill you "she cried I kissed her then   went and hid in the closet

Bethany's POV

Once Elvis hid I whipped my tears and opened the door

"Who were you talking to?"Johnny said as he walked in

"No one"I lied

"So no ones here in the house like your mother sister?"he asked looking in the kitchen

"No "I said

"Good that just leaves me and you"he said I gulped

"Johnny please don't do this again"I said he ignored me and kissed me he slide his hand under my skirt

"ELVIS!!! "I yelled

"You said no one was here you lied to me you bitch-"he said before Elvis hit him he kept hitting him

"Elvis stop your gonna kill him"I cried

"Maybe I should "he said through his teeth

"Elvis come on"I said he let go of Johnny and his face was bloody and swollen

"Get out!! "Elvis said Johnny slowly got up and almost tried over him self as he left to the door

"Elvis I'm sorry I didn't tell you before he said he was gonna kill me"I cried he pulled me into his chest

"It's okay now we will Call the police tonight "he said then kissed my forehead

"You should get going my mother's gonna be home soon "I said

"I'll see you tomorrow "Elvis said I nodded

"And elvis "I said

"Yea?"he asked

"Thank you again for everything"I smiled

"I'll do anything for you I love you"he said he leaned in and kissed me

"I love you to"I said

"Bye "he said then walked out

that night I woke up from a nightmare and Johnny came back Elvis wasn't there to protect me but it was just a dream I hope
