chapter 24

Bethany's POV

Elvis mostly took care of Janet for me I felt bad I really did but when the reporter asked the question I broke down.

I was taking a walk in the cool winter breeze the clouds were very and dark it looked like a storm.

"Mrs."I heard a voice say

"Yes"its Johnny

"I saw your interview."he said I turned my head and sat on a bench

"Why do you care!"I snapped he stared at me

"I feel awful for what I did."he said

"You hurt me in so many ways that you would never imagine I will never forgive you."I explained tears came to my eyes

"Bethany."he moved his arm to my shoulder

"Don't touch me!"I said getting up I walked back to Graceland

Why does he keep doing this to me I know it was a long time ago but he hurt me I just wish I could get him back for what he did.

"Hey babe."elvis said before he kissed me

"Hi"

He looked at me like he knew something Janet was sleeping peacefully in her crib I smiled.

"Beth honey tell me what's wrong"he asked I thought he already knew what was wrong

"When we came out of the hospital, the reporter asked if I got raped."I told him he grabbed my hand and I squeezed

"Are you worried he's gonna do it again."he asked just above a whisper I shook my head no and his lips moved to my neck we haven't made love since Janet was born. I wonder if he's beginning to grow tired of me.

His lips went to my chest my fingers dug in his hair

"Elvis."I moaned I wanted him so badly right then but he stopped

"Why do you keep doing this!??"I half yelled so I wouldn't wake Janet

"The time isn't right"he mumbled

"Well when is it!"I snapped he ignored me and slammed the door making Janet wake up.

Elvis POV

after my show in Memphis there were girls waiting back stage

"Elvis!!"a girl cried I came up and kissed everyone of them cameras flashed

"Elvis elvis !!"some more girls yelled they even took my shirt off

"Come on girl elvis has a lot to do"Joe told them all of them wined and Joe dragged me into the limo

"Aren't you forgetting Bethany"he said I rubbed my temple

"She'll understand its just the fans."I mumble I arrived at Graceland at 8 pm beth had Janet in her arms I smiled I kissed Bethany's head she was sleeping I took Janet and placed her in the crib next to our bed.

I smelt bacon when I woke up one morning I put my robe on and walked down stairs I see beth cooking eggs I wrap my arms around her

"Hey there."she smiled I kissed her cheek

"I haven't seen you in the kitchen in so long"I tell her

"Well I thought I'd give it a try"she said placing 2 eggs,pancakes and  a pile of bacon

"Thanks babe"I say she nods

"Coffee?"

"You read my mind."I said she smiled making coffee

"I thought we could take Janet out today you know show her around Memphis."I tell her

"Elvis she's a baby"she says eating breakfast

"So we could still show her around"I say she nods

"K."she said all

After we had breakfast we got ready and walked outside Bethany was pushing Janet in her stroller

"Honey look"I said I was pointing at the sun records we walked up to it

"Its closing?"I said

I needed to do something about this I love sun records I can't have it close
