Bethany's POV

Me and elvis have been in Hollywood for 2 weeks and still haven't got a call elvis for worried and thought this was a bad idea I told him he had nothing to worry about

"I can't go in"elvis said pacing back and forth out side the waiting room

"Elvis you'll do fine"I said watching him

"What if we did all of this and I don't make it we just waisted our time"he tells me

"Elvis calm down you have a amazing voice "I say he stops in his tracks

"Your telling the truth "he asks me I nod in agreement

"Okay here goes nothing"he said I get up and he grabs my hand we enter the room

"Hey elvis"Sam looks up at us

"Hello Sam "he said

"I've got some really good news"he tells elvis

"So I showed the record to a couple other record deals and they said they like what they hear "he said

"Oh that's great news!"elvis said

"Yep and we would like to sign you to our record label"he said Elvis's eyes went wide

"A record label thank you so much!!"elvis said shaking Sam's hand

"Your welcome elvis if you keep singing like that you'll be a sensation"he tells elvis

After our excitement we headed back home to Memphis I missed it so much its good to come home

"A record label elvis I don't think its a good idea"Gladys said we were all eating dinner

"But mama I'll support you guys that's one of the reasons why I want to sing "elvis tells her she shakes her head

"I don't like this elvis I wanna protect you how can I when your across the country"she said with teary eyes

"Gladys please he's a grown boy now"Vern said sternly

"I know I know "she cried Vern rubbed her back

"Gladys I know this may not help but I'll be with elvis also and I'll keep a good eye on him for you"I tell her she holds my hand

"I know you will beth elvis is good to have you. Your like the daughter I never had"she said i kissed her cheek she smiled and patted my leg

"Mama you okay now"elvis said Gladys nodded

"I know now your in good hands"she said elvis hugged her

"Thank you sattin"he said she smiled

Elvis POV

I didn't know if beth wanted to come live with me in Hollywood I was scared to ask her since she doesn't like that place

"Beth honey"I said to her I helped her clean the dishes

"Yea?"she asked me handing me a plate

"Would you like to come and live with me in Hollywood we can buy a nice house "I tell her she has a worried look

"E I'm not sure I love it here in Memphis"she says

"Can't you try it for a week"I asked with puppy dog eyes she looks at me for a second before she answers she bits her lip

"Alright fine I'm only doing this for Gladys"she said I sigh with a relief

"Thank you!!"i tell her she nods

"E when are we gonna start planning our wedding we've been engaged for 4 months"beth says to me we are now sitting on the couch her legs on my lap

"I don't know a lot has been going on "I tell her she sighs I miss her cheek

"Hey don't worry okay well work it out"I say

"Elvis I need to see my mother"she tells me

"You aren't leaving me are you?"I raise my brow she shakes her head

"No I'm just home sick is all its been 2 years now "she said

"You want me to come with?"I ask she shakes her head no

"E I think its best if I go by my self first"she said she got up and got her jacket it was January and it is freezing out side especially at night

"Alright you call me if anything happens okay"I say she kisses me on the cheek

"I promise E"she says

Bethanys POV

As I walked on the porch steps I was getting really nervous since what happen in the house I miss it dearly but so much has happened to me .

"Beth."my mother said as she opened the door

"Hi mom"I said as I tear slid down my cheek

"What are you doing here"she says

"May I cone in"I ask she pulls me in gently

"Sit please"she said I sat down on the couch that brought back the worse memorie

"So you've changed a lot"my mom tells me I smile

"So have you where is Mary"I ask her she calls mary down Mary jogs down the stairs she's all grown up

"Beth!!"she squeals running towards me .

"I've missed you so so much"she says as we hug

"I've missed you to kiddo maybe me and you can have a girls day"I tell her she nods

"So what's the real reason you came"mom says

"Well I have some news you might be interested in"I tell her

"What kind of news?"she says

"Me and elvis are..... Engaged"I said nervously

"Oh that's wonderful"her voice sincerely but concerned

"Yea I hope your not mad at me still- I want my mother back"I say with a tears down my cheeks

"Baby that was history"she says she pulls me in a unexpected hug I heard her cry

"Im so glad I have you back now"she mumbles in my hair we hug for a long time its good to have a mother in my back in my life.

"I'm glad to be back"I say as we pull away she whips the tears off my face

"You need to bring elvis sometimes so I can thank him"she tells me

"Thank him for what ?"I questioned

"For bringing you into there home"she says I smile softly

After we caught up I told her I'll come back tomorrow with elvis maybe

"I'm home "I said dropping my bag

"How'd it go?"he asked me I sat on his lap

"Really good I miss my mom"I tell him he kisses me sweetly

"That's wonderful beth"he says with a smile I rest my head on his chest both of his arms are on me

"My mom wants to speak with you"I tell him

"Don't worry its nothing bad"I say I hear his heart beat with mine
