A priestesses' fate isn't so cruel

Chapeter 6

Shina woke up the next day, not realizing that its finally saturday.
yawn! - she yawns while covering her mouth. Soon, she realizes that most of the temple servants aren't present.

She gets dressed and walks around the temple. It felt emptier than ever. She saw Sarata walking by, and quickly tapped her shoulder.

"Sarata, where are all the other temple servants?" she asked with curiosity.

"If you have forgotten, all temple servants are permitted to go out of this territory, only at saturday. But by night, all must gather at the entrance."
she explains, while checking out some papers in her hand.

"i see.." Shina nodded slowly. "But what about you?"

"I have some work to do. Now i suppose you can go wherever you want now."she answers calmly.

Shina decides not to go home and visit her family, at least not yet and chooses to visit the nearest town, that is Kinora town.

She took a bus heading to that area, and got off after she paid the fair. The Town was bustling, and people go about. Shina decided to check out the latest news on the newspapers, just to keep in touch with whats going on.

Shina sighed at the current hot news on the newspaper. "Some rich peoples affairs are always exposed to the public". Shina spent the rest of the day exploring the town and checking out some things.

Shina kept the newspaper in her bag and it was evening. "Time to return", she exhaled. But just as she was going to hail a cab, some guys approached her.

"Hey cutie! wanna play with us?" Spat one short guy, beside the other two.
"Yeah! come with us, we'll bring you for some fun ok?" said another one.

"No ! sorry but i need to get back now." Shina quickly walked away, hoping to shake them off.

And as they grabbed her, a voice boomed behind them.

"Excuse me, i don't think she wants to play with you".

It was Makoto. He skilfully threw them aside, and they grew scared as they ran away with shock.

"Makoto!" , Shina exclaimed with relief. "Just your luck i was here. Are you alright?" worriedly, he asks.

"Yes! of course i am! i was just about to hail a cab!" she looked at him with a smile.

"Since we both have intentions to return, lets get in the same cab" Makoto looks at Shina with gentle eyes.

A cab soon came by, and the both of them got in, and managed to return in time.

As they finally reached the entrance panting because of the number of steps, most of the other temple servants were already back.

"I guess we're here now. so.. i have to go and change?" Shina blushed.

"Of course. we all have to. Look for me if you need help with anything." he waved a hand before turning his back and walking to where his room is.

Soon as all the temple servants got dressed, they gathered at the entrance. The priestesses were given kagura bells, while the yin yang masters and priests were given fans.

Everyone was taught to dance accordingly, and strictly it needed perfection.

Shina on the other hand was struggling, but tried as hard as she could to imitate the moves, and complicated dances which baffled her mind.

As the moon shone and showed its beauty, the bells rang in sync, and fans swayed perfectly.
