Chapeter 13

HOW IT ALL STARTED.

She was just an ordinary simple and pretty country bumpkin with no knowledge of the outside world - - the cities.

While he, a smart and quick-witted , handsome respected CEO of one of the most top worldwide companies around the world.

I slammed down the documents and files onto my desk in my office, on the most highest floor of this tall building.

Thank god there was a lift. If not i would die from my exhaustion to get back down.

I felt something in my vest pocket. I felt for it and took it out.

It was the country club member card i registered for a month ago or so.

I almost forgot about it. It was in my vest pocket all this time.

Suddenly, a lightbulb flashed through my mind.

Why hadn't i thought about this sooner?

I knew how to deal with my pressure this position has pressed onto me!

Since tomorrow is Saturday, i can get a day free from all of this company crap for awhile.

I started the car once i packed my stuff from the Sanagi mansion.

I could feel Rei Sanagi's threatening stare on me as i drove away.

As i was driving, i glanced at my membership card under my name.

The name of that place.

Somehow , when i was driving by, i happen to steal a glance at a beautiful woman.

She could be around my age.

Her pretty, hair flowing in sync with the wind that blew amongst the village.

Osaki village.

It's very quiet, and surely most of the people here hardly know anything about the city or who's in the new hot fame bathtub of the month.

When i pulled up at Gesa country club, and pushed the car door open, and slammed it shut behind me.

I walked into the bar, full of luxurious cuisine and drinks.

Only the ones who have a certain sum of money can come here.

I happen to see Senshino Kouchi, my best man companion.

He waved at me while taking his glasses off.

I gave him a friendly manly grip  while the both of us grinning in excitement.

"Hey! my bud! how's my man doing eh?" he smiles while grabbing a whiskey shot for me and him.

I smile back and chat for awhile.

After it gets dark, i headed home.

But then i saw the same pretty woman with black pupils , white face and faint pink pale lips.

As time passed , i always saw the same beautiful Japanese woman and my curiosity always grew by the second for her.

Soon it changed into feelings.

Feelings i have never felt to anyone else.

So i decided to pull up beside the village in a simple outfit.

I tried to hid who i was.

As i found her, she was sitting down on a meadow with over grown flowers.

I sat beside her.

I didn't atcually know what i was doing. I just suddenly did so.

She turned to look at me, with wide eyes of curiosity.

"Hey. Mind me sitting here?" i asked while settling to sit.

"Of course. You are free to do so." she smiled while i could see into her pure soul.

Her smile pierced through my heart.

I have never seen this smile from anyone other than my mother.

"I see you almost everyday. So i decided to talk to you." i smiled back, giving the message that i won't hurt her or anything.

"Eh? so you live here too? i've never seen you before!" her eyes widened with excitement while staring back at me.

"Well.. not exactly. I don't live around here but i usually pass by here." i got closer.

"I see. Then if it's like that, do you want to meet up sometime or chat sometime or something?" she openly asks me while i was surprised with her confidence.

"Of course."

And from that day on, i always chatted with her everytime i passed by here, but i had to make sure i hid my identity very well. So she wouldn't know what kind of respected person i am.

Soon as time passed by, both of us developed feelings for each other.

It was love.

True love.

She asked about my family, but i said it was nothing special.

But she didn't worry about it the tiniest bit.

Maybe she understood that i had some  family problems.

When i met her family, they all greeted me and i felt welcomed.

And relieved they didn't know who i was.

Not even the other residents knew who i was.

This was great.

I could be myself.

Soon we got married at a nearby temple and had a simple house in the meadows.

I loved coming home, living with her and eventually having my own children.

But there was only one problem..

My stepmother wanted to murder me.

I knew she would eventually find me wherever i was and murder me and maybe even my family.

I knew because i always overheard her plan with her daughter and some people involved.

I knew because i have placed tiny  speakers around the corner of the house. that eventually will automatically record in my tapes.

I listened to them with earphones and i wasn't surprised a single bit.

I kept my tapes in a drawer and my earphones somewhere else.

So i decided to go to her myself and let her hurt me as much as she wanted and never let her know about my family.

This was they wouldn't get hurt.

It was the only way.
