Waking up at 6 a.m every morning takes a toll on you. I need to wake up that early because we live kinda far from school. It takes us like thirty minutes with a car, so it's really far.
"Good morning" Edie says, climbing in the car.
"Mornin'" I murmur, still half asleep. I'm really not a morning person. It actually depends on my mood. If I want to do something that day I would wake up early.
"How did you not fall asleep coming here?" she reaches for the car door to get out "Let me drive"
I spring up, suddenly awake "Nonono. I won't give you my precious baby"
"Fine. Here's some coffee to wake up" she gives me a cup of freshly made coffee while slamming the door shut.
"Aww, you care about me" I squeal and grab the cup. I like the smell of coffee in the morning. It reminds me of happiness and calmness.
"I care about my safety. I don't want you falling asleep and getting into a car accident" she jokes, putting on a seatbelt.
"But you love me" I blink rapidly, making a pouty face.
     "Unfortunately" she sighs.
We both laugh and drive off to hell.

Surprisingly school was quiet. Nobody said anything. Nobody even looked at me. The crazy Elliot 'fans' or the Ellits, as they like to call themselves, were nowhere to be seen. Maybe even too quiet. My paranoia cranks up and I think every second that someone is gonna jump in front of me.
I hold onto Edie's hand while we walk to our classroom, looking around every second.
"Will you chill. Nobody is gonna harm you. I'm here to protect" she sticks out her chest to make herself look scarier. Which makes her look like a penguin trying to impress its mate.
"Hey" Abby suddenly shows up in front of us.
I widen my eyes and clutch my chest. Edie does a karate pose, thinking she'll scare her off.
"Jesus, don't scare us like that" I sigh.
"Oh, it's just you" Edie composes herself into a normal pose.
"Just me? Were you expecting someone else?" she sounds hurt.
"Yeah, the crazy Ellits" Edie sounds more concerned now that the school started to fill with more people.
The crazy Ellits are obsessed with Eliot's beauty. I don't know what they see in him but oh well. They'll kill you if you do something to their precious Elliot so I'm definitely dead.
"Why? Is it because you slapped Elliot??" Abby huffs "I'm sure they won't do anything to you" she sways her hand in mid-air. Yeah, sure, let's go with that.
As soon as she did that, we hear a swarm of feet running. All three of us quickly whip our heads towards the sound to see 5-6 girls heading right towards us.
"It's the Ellits" I gasp, fearing for my life.
"RUN" Edie shouts as she shoves us both in the opposite direction of the running girls, into the boy's bathroom.
We go into one of the stalls and lock the door, passing the dude peeing into the urinal. He quickly zips up his pants and rushes through the door, utterly confused.
     "Jesus, they want me dead"
"Yeah, no shit. I feel like we're in The Lion King, in that one scene with the stampede" Abby sighs, leaning against the wall.
"What are we gonna do now?" Edie wonders, looking at us.
"We're gonna wait until they leave?" I ask, sounding unsure.
"That's the only choice we have" Abby backs me up.

"Oh my god, they're so persistent" I get angry and sit on the toilet.
"Dude, we've only been here for like a minute" Edie states the obvious.
"I know.." I put my head in my hands "I just want all of this to end"
"I feel guilty. You didn't have to do that, you know?" Abby taps my shoulder.
"It's fine. I would've done the same if it was someone else too" I do a half-smile and grab her hand, squeezing it.
"Guys, listen" Edie puts her ear on the stall door "Silence"
"They must've left. Also, you're disgusting. Don't put your face on a stall door." Abby murmured.
"I'm gonna explore the premises" Edie whispers and ignores Abby's comment. She makes a gun with her hands thinking she's some kind of a detective.
"You really need to stop watching crime movies" Abby chuckles.
Edie walks out slowly then beckons us with her hand "The coast is clear. I repeat, the coast is clear"
We all walk out, still being careful of our surroundings and go to our classroom. I really hope this Elliot fiasco dies down a bit. I don't like being in the center of attention.
