"Guys, I bought a pregnancy test" Abby whispers, entering my room. Finally. I'm glad she chose to do this with us.
"Okay, so we have a pregnancy test. Now go and take it" I say.
"But I don't know how this works" Abby whines.
Edie sighs and grabs the box out of Abby's arms "It's all written here" she turns it around "You need to pee on this stick and wait a couple of minutes. If there are two red lines it means you're pregnant and if just one line then you're not. It's easy enough"
"Okay. It's easy enough" Abby repeats and heads to the bathroom.
"Wait, guys" I cut them off.
Abby stops her tracks and Edie looks at me confused.
"Shouldn't we just first like go to a gynecologist and listen to their advice?"
"Hmmm. Yeah but I have this now, I can just use this."
"Yeah but it may not be 100% right, see" I point to the 99% in the back.
"Okay, we can use this and see what we got and then we'll go" she smiles.
"Alright" I sigh. I still think it's better to go to a gynecologist so we know what to do if something else happens, but oh well. I guess we can do this first too.
After a while we hear a scream coming from the bathroom. I can't tell if it's a happy or a sad scream.
We dart towards the bathroom to find Abby with her hands on her mouth.
"What happened?" I ask, stepping into the bathroom.
Edie takes the pregnancy test from next to the sink and smiles.
"Is it one line?" a smile creeping on my face as I get close to her.
It is. It's one line. It means she wasn't pregnant. YES.
"But wait. Why did you feel sick all that time?" I ask, confused.
"I guess it was some food poisoning or something" Abby chuckles and brushes her hands through her hair "You have no idea how happy I am guys. It's like a stone has fallen off my chest"
"We are too. We don't have to take care of stinky diapers while you work some crappy job which barely gives you money for food" Edie says going in for a hug. I join them and we all stay like that for a couple of minutes.
"But guys, we still need to go to a gynecologist" I break the hug.
     "Yeah" Abby sighs.
"Wait a minute. If you had food poisoning, shouldn't your stomach hurt?" Edie turns to Abby with a raised finger.
"Well yeah it did but I thought it's because a baby is forming in my stomach?"
"Thank god you're not pregnant. I don't know what you would've done with the baby with a brain like that" I sigh, jokingly tapping her shoulder.
"Hey! How should I know? I've never been pregnant in my life. Plus I had sex with Noah. That was the only thought that was in my head at that time" she pouts, crossing her arms.
"That's okay. You'll learn" I tap her head like a dog.
"At least you didn't google the symptoms. You would've had a heart attack because it would've most likely said that you're dying." Edie chuckles.
"Stop making me seem stupid. I know that if I have a common cold and if I google the symptoms, google would say that I'm going to die in two days or something" she exclaims in annoyance.
We love teasing her. She's so easy to be teased with.
Chuckling, I head to the kitchen to make myself some snacks, I'm getting hungry from all of this.
I open the fringe and what do I find? Absolutely nothing. Well, there is one carton of milk but that's it. I didn't do the groceries this morning. I sigh. I hate my life.
"Guys, we gotta order. My fridge is as empty as your vagina, Edie" I joke, closing it.
"Ha ha. I could say the same thing about you" Edie shoots back smirking. Abby whistles, following Edie. I chuckle.
"I'm ordering pizza" Abby says as she grabs her phone and orders.
After a while, a question pops up in my head. Where did Abby order pizza from?
"Hey, Abby" I turn towards her.
"Hm?" she mumbles looking up from her phone.
"The pizza you ordered... Where did you order it from?" I ask trying not to seem suspicious. If it's from Eliot's place, I'm dead.
"The pizza place near your house, why?" she says.
Damn it. Why did it have to be near my house?
"Well, I thought they would bring it soon than the other ones. Why are you acting weird? It's just pizza. You've eaten their pizza before." she says.
Oops. I must've said that out loud.
"Yeah, I just wanted to change it once in a while but never mind. We can order from someplace else next time" I smile to her and turn my attention on the TV.
What will happen when Eliot comes? Will he even be the one to deliver our pizza? How will Abby react? Does she still like him?
All of these questions pop into my head but I burst them with a needle called not caring enough because why do I even care? He'll just deliver our pizza and then go.
