Ana trained with her father everyday for years, the guards and The Keeper observed her training sometimes to see how she progressed and if she was an asset to HYDRA. She was trained in both physical and hacking skills. When she was 10 years old she became dubbed as the Winter Horror, someone who could hide in plain sight and be inconspicuous. Some were more terrified of The Winter Horror than the Winter Soldier.

James never forgot his daughter each time his mind was wiped, they don't know if it was because she was a constant in his life or if their bond went too deep into his mind. The deep green eyes that came from her mother and the hazel brown hair that hung by her waist. He remembered small bits of Ana's mother, such as her deep red hair and blind eye for rules.

Soon enough Ana was able to come on bigger missions with her father. This simple mission was to be a watchman and backup for him, they were taking out an engineer on a road that was trying to flee Russia.

Ana watched her surroundings as they stood in silence and waited for the car to come around the corner. Soon enough the car rounded the corner and the duo jumped into action, James stood right in front of the car, as if to wait for it to hit him but the car swerved and rolled off the side of the small cliff, before Ana could get down to the car her father stood over the woman and the engineer. As he looked at the woman, he froze.

"Papa!" She shouted, it broke him out of the stance, and he gathered himself together and shot the engineer through her before she could say anything, instantly killing the man and injured the woman.

Natalia knew exactly who he was but she wasn't shocked that he couldn't remember her, she had seen it all before. She was shocked frozen when she heard a young girl calling him papa. Maybe her little girl could be alive. Natalia looked to the direction of the voice and saw a young girl with a black skin tight suit and a sword in her hand, she couldn't see the face but she saw the same brown hair that James had.

"Ana?" Natalia whispered, she tried to get the girl's attention but James noticed it and shot her in the stomach. Damn it James.

The Winter Soldier ran back to his daughter and grabbed her by the arm and ran off, dragging her behind him. The duo ran back to the meeting spot and stood on silence, in the shade and cover of the mountain, in case someone came around the corner. Ana looked at the floor to try find a small rock to take with her, normally her father would help her but he was stuck in his own mind today.

"Papa?" Ana asked, she shrieked quietly when she found the perfect stone to take with her. She poked her father in the arm to show him the rock but he didn't acknowledge her. Ana frowned and poked him again.

"стоп Ana." The Soldier grumbled. Ana pouted and turned away from him, a lone tear rolled down her face. Ana looked into the snowy mountains and tried to count to one hundred in English. (Stop)

Two HYDRA vans soon reached them and loaded them into the back of the van. Each of the Winters' were placed into separate vans incase one was compromised. Ana rode in complete silence, she didn't even play the rock she found. Her mind buzzed with questions, why did her father freeze.

They reached the main base in 20 minutes and James left the room and handed all the weapons in and left Ana in the main hallway. Ana was walked into the main office with the Russian Keeper.

"отчет о миссии"The Keeper demanded. Ana gave him the details of the mission, missing out the Soldier's hesitation. The Keeper nodded and motioned for the guards to take her to the sleeping room. (Mission report)

The guards tossed her inside and shut the door behind her. Ana heard the lock click and sighed, she shrugged off the jacket they gave her and threw it on her mattress. Ana sighed audibly, trying to get her father's attention but it didn't work. Her father just carried on staring at the wall, it wasn't unusual but today he was staring extra hard at the wall, as if to the tell the wall to make it make sense to him.

"стена не даст вам ответов, ты пробовал раньше" Ana said before she collapsed on the mattress on the floor. She picked up the rock and played with it in her hand. She placed the rock down on the pile of rocks behind her stuff and turned to face her father. (The wall won't give you answers, you've tried before)

"Papa?" Ana asked, fed up with intense staring. James turned around and faces her, his face was contorted and Ana sat up and looked in the eye. "кем она была" (Who was she)

"тот, кто много значил для меня" the solder replies with. Ana knew not to question further as it will just frustrate him, she got up off the mattress and walked into the shower, while the cloth wiped the dirt away she couldn't help but think that woman was her mother. She had the same green eyes that that Ana had. (Someone who meant a lot me)

Ana was woken up by her father shaking her, he often did it when he was scared or confused. The scared part didn't happen often but he was always confused. Ana sat up slowly and placed her hands in James' hand.

"Papa?" She asked. "в чем дело" (Whats wrong)

"эта женщина твоя мать" (that woman is your mother)
