08; Criminals

2016 ― Bucharest, Romania
"Congratulations, Cap. You and your family are criminals."

Steve and Katherine entered what they found out to be Bucky's apartment in Romania. They had their twins stay stationed with Sam. Thankfully because of Tony, they had something to wear in the field. Tony had made Christian a suit that would turn invisible with him, since the whole point is for him to be hidden. He made Amaya an all black suit, much like Katherine's that harnessed her power, so that even if someone touched her, they would immediately be under her mind control, it was like a power transfer.

"Babe." Katherine said as they were both looking around the apartment and she found a notebook on top of the fridge. It had different sticky tabs in it on different pages. She handed it to Steve who opened it up, and when he went to one of the marked pages, there was a picture of him inside, in his uniform.

"Heads up, Cap, Fatale. German Special Forces approaching from the south." Sam said to them.

"Understood." Steve said, and then Katherine turned around because she felt another presence in the room and she was right. Bucky was standing there. He didn't look like he was going to attack, but she tapped Steve, and he turned around.

"Do you know us?" Katherine asked him.

"You're Steve." He said, looking at him, and then he looked at Katherine. "And you're Katherine. I read about you both in a museum." He said.

"Mom, Dad. . they've set the perimeter." Christian said into the coms. Steve set Bucky's notebook down before taking a few cautious steps forward.

"I know you're nervous, and you have plenty reason to be. But you're lying." Steve said.

"I wasn't in Vienna. I don't do that anymore." Bucky said.

"They're entering the building." Amaya's voice rang through.

"Well, the people who think you did are coming here, now, and they're not planning on taking you alive." Katherine said.

"That's smart. Good strategy." Bucky said.

"They're on the roof. We're compromised." Sam said.

"Keep them safe." Katherine said into her coms. That was another thing she needed to think of. Alias' for both of her children to keep them safe while they're in the field.

"This doesn't have to end in a fight, Buck." Steve said.

"It always ends in a fight." Bucky responded.

"Five seconds." Sam said.

"You pulled me from the river. Why?" Steve asked, as Bucky took off his glove, revealing his metal hand.

"I don't know." He responded.

"Three seconds." Sam said.

"Yes you do." Steve said.

"As much as I love how this reunion is going we don't have time to. .-" Katherine was cut off by Sam's voice in her ear.

". .-Breech. Breech!" He exclaimed. Steve on instinct, pushed Katherine to the ground before turning towards the window where an explosive had been thrown in and he hit it away with his shield. Another one got thrown in, by Bucky's feet and he kicked it away. Steve trapped it under his shield when it went off, none of them being impacted by the blow.

Two officers came through the window, and Katherine pulled the rug out from under one who was about to shoot, making him misfire. The back door opened as another soldier came in. Steve held him off with his shield, while Katherine swung around and kicked him back out of the door. Bucky went towards one of the officers, but Steve grabbed his shoulder.
