"They'll eventually find us, brother, and I doubt they'll be particularly forgiving."
"They wouldn't do anything to piss father off, Jimin, don't forget. They still remember their last scuffle with dad enough to call him Satan."
Consciousness dragged through me, but I felt as my body was frozen, as if everything was frozen and there were no coherent thoughts in my mind.
"Their power sets me on edge, brother." A sigh, "the nine of them together are a force to be reckoned with. Don't forget that time-"
A groan dragged itself from deep in my throat as reality began to take fold. My mind seemed to realise I was trapped somewhere, and able to overhear a conversation between the twins.
But I couldn't open my eyes, couldn't move, couldn't hear anything clearly except ringing and quiet whispers.
"You'd think they'd of learned their lesson the last time, with what happened with Chanyeol and the last human fool that came down here." Taehyung scoffed. "They're soft and weak. Real demons don't grow emotions for mortal females."
"Do you remember Lina? She had this fire in her soul, no wonder Chanyeol grew affectionate for her. But it's no excuse, no excuse at all really, is it? Falling for a human," Jimin laughed out loud, "how embarrassing."
My breathing was laboured, panic and fear growing within me. Where am I? Where are the brothers? Why haven't they found me?
As if reading my thoughts, a hand was placed on my face, "there, there," Taehyung cooed, "once we are done with you, there will be nothing left for our brothers to save."
I screamed.

"Sit down, Chanyeol." Junmyeon ordered, hands clasped in front of him as he sat at the head of the dining table, watching his brother pace back and fourth in front of him.
Chanyeol snarled half heartedly. "How can I? Those pair- they're an absolute pain! I'll rip them apart."
Junmyeon sighed, "brother, you need to control yourself. Isla cannot die, and she's strong, she can withstand their torment whilst Yixing manages to contact Eve-"
Chanyeol turned to look at his older brother incredulously. "She's strong? She's mortal. She cannot withstand the torment of those conniving twins."
"She's not Lina." It was Jongin that spoke from the door, eyes empty as he stared at his lanky brother.
Chanyeol's nostrils flared in agitation.
"You're right, Jongin." Junmyeon stood, "Isla isn't Lina. She's stronger, she's different. Mortals are different, and have different tolerances."
Chanyeol growled at Junmyeon, making Jongin tense. "Well if you hadn't of gotten into a predicament with Taehyung then we wouldn't be in this situation. Not to mention, Kyungsoo said that Taehyung caller you Suho in front of Isla."
The older brother nodded, frowning slightly. "He did. She does not know the power behind the name, or the meaning. She can't use it against us."
"What if they tell her?" Jongin questioned, slightly wide eyed. "If they tell her the power behind our demon names- brother, we'd be in a worse situation than we're already in. Remember when Lina found out."
"Isla isn't Lina, remember?" Chanyeol commented with venom before turning to leave the room, barging past his younger brother on the way out.

"Yixing." A voice cooed, one that the demon recognised from brief encounters. Beside him, Baekhyun and Sehun stiffened, going on the alert as the three of them turned around.
Entering Jungkook's circle of Hell, Limbo, was easy. Anything - Mortal, Angel or Demon, could enter at will, but leaving was the hard part. This is where Yixing had to meet Eve, as she wouldn't enter Hell, but she would bend the rules enough for her to enter in this never ending space of bright light.
"Eve." Yixing greeted, turning to see the female stood with a curious expression. She wore a white, silk gown that clung to her body, with her waist length golden hair pulled back by a crystallised flower diadem, revealing the entirety of her exquisite face.
"What is the reason you call me here, Child of Cecilia?" Yixing fought a flinch at his mother's name, instead he squared his shoulders, the face of Isla running through his mind. But Eve's attention rested on Sehun suddenly, a flare of surprise in her eyes. "Child of Lilith, it is unusual for you to appear before me, with your mother's hatred towards me."
Sehun smirked slightly, "my mother does not control me, nor does she have any interest in what I do."
Eve laughed, gentle and caressing, but there was disbelief in her eyes. "You are wrong, child. Lilith values her few children more than she values her own life, you'd be wise to remember that."
Sehun scoffed, Baekhyun tensing slightly with a warning look. "You have not seen my mother for a millennia, don't act as if you know her."
Eve smiled, "after finding a way to reproduce, albeit the one in a million chance of reproducing with her new method, Lilith would not abandon her children so quickly. Watch your back, boy, because I have no doubt that your mother watches your every move."
Before Sehun could retort, Baekhyun stepped forward, the bright, never ending light surrounding them seemed to surge in answer. "We're not here to discuss Lilith. We're here to tell you to control your children, before their life will be forfeit."
Anger raged in Eve's eyes, and her smile contorted into a near snarl. "You dare threaten my children to me. Your power is minuscule compared to mine, demon or no, and if you make such threats again, you'll find yourself without a mind to control your power."
Baekhyun laughed, echoing throughout the bright plane they were stood on, the light flared almost blindingly bright. "Call off your twins in their plans, and I shall not act upon my threat."
Eve's nostrils flared. "Jimin and Taehyung. My only children of your father do what they desire, I cannot control them. That is why these reside here, where they belong."
"Are you saying you don't love them?" Yixing questioned, noticing her sad expression.
"I am saying that since growing into their full form, they cannot be controlled by me, not anymore. That's why I sent them here. I love my children more than you could ever know, but I know where they belong. And it's not with me." She wasn't looking at them, she seemed to be staring into space, recalling a time long ago.
"Eve, you may not be able to control them. But you're still their mother, and you have not seen them in a long time. You could distract them long enough for us to get what we want." Yixing explained, and Eve's face perked in interest.
"And what is it that you want desperately enough you've asked for my help?" She narrowed her eyes.
Yixing grinned, one that Baekhyun and Sehun so rarely saw him wear, a taster to the demon that craves destruction. "That's not your business."
