the weather seemed to have warmed up a little more by the time they started walking back to the house. kylie was just waiting for the questions to start.

"so was that george?" kyla asked.

"well duh, didn't you see his name tag?" kylie replied.

"yea but i wanted to make sure it was the same george." she told her. kylie understood.

"go you girl, he's pretty good lookin.'" alley bumped kylie's shoulder a bit.

"shut up." kylie chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"well it's true! you hit the jackpot with him." kyla added.

kylie knew he was very attractive but, they've only just met not that long ago. and besides, who knows how things will end up. she didn't want to jump to things too quickly, especially if there was still so much time to get to know him better.

"i'm not gonna lie, he is pretty cute." kylie looks down and smiles.

"ouuuu." alley and kyla say in unison.

they are not gonna let this go, are they?

george couldn't seem to focus too well after all of that. he kept wondering if he sounded stupid talking to her, or if she found it dumb that he worked at a lousy ice cream shop. she didn't seem too bothered by it but, you never know. he was glad that she was okay with him calling her later. it actually made him quite giddy.

he seemed to notice something though. he noticed the two other girls with her. he assumed those were the same two girls that were with her the night they met. her sister and her best friend.
he wondered if kylie had brought him up to them or not. he quickly shoved that thought aside considering it hasn't been that long at all.

but it feels like so much longer to him, and he didn't completely understand why.

-

"okay but the real question is," kyla began. kylie could only imagine what it could be this time.
"does your man have any friends I'd be interested in meeting?" she had a sly look plastered across her face.

kylie shook her head in disapproval.

"first of all, he is not my man. second of all, remember those other guys in the car with him before we got to fritz?" kylie asked her, hoping she'd remember.

kyla nodded her head yes.

"I'm pretty sure those were his friends." kylie added.

"ohhhh okay. I mean I'm not mad at that, they were cute." she smiled.

"you think everyone is cute." alley joked with her.

"come on alley, don't deny it. they were cute, and you know it." kyla told her.

alley sighed while nodding her head.

"okay. they may have been cute but don't let those looks deceive you." she pointed a finger at the brown haired girl.

"you're such a party pooper. i bet you haven't even slept with anyone, have you?" she crossed her arms across her chest.

"i don't have to tell you that information." alley stuck her chin up in the air.

"okay, okay. stop fighting like a couple of middle schoolers." kylie tried to break up the childish, small argument between the two. kylie understood why alley didn't want to share. even with your closest friends, it can be weird to talk about those kinds of things.

they continued to walk back to the house, but mostly in silence.

"you have the key, right?" alley asked kylie. she nodded her head, and unlocked the door.
