kylie was usually always the first one up. alley slept until noon on most days. it would be rare to see her wake up any earlier than eleven or twelve.

she stretched her limbs and sat up in her bed. she looked over at the small clock placed on her wall. it read 8:45am.

considering it was summer, she decided to open her curtains and let natural light shine throughout her room.

"ouch." she quietly said to herself as the sun hit her eyes. then, the sudden urge of having to pee hit her. she made her way to the bathroom.

her hair was quite messy, so she grabbed her brush from the small cabinet and brushed it out. at least making herself somewhat presentable, even if the day was going to be pretty much uneventful.

as she was finishing up with brushing out her hair, there was a quiet knock on the door.

"yea?" kylie questioned.

"it's kyla, i'm about to piss myself." kyla nervously chuckled.

"oh god, okay." kylie opened the door to see kyla jumping around in her place. she quickly went into the bathroom and closed the door.

"well, at least i know she's up now." kylie thought to herself.

after a few minutes, kyla finally made her way out of the bathroom. kylie then went back in to finish what she was doing. she threw some water on her face to wake her up more. brushing her teeth was next on the list. once she was done, she decided to go out into the living room where kyla was.

kyla seemed to have opened the large curtains that covered the main windows, so sunshine was filling the entire room.

"i'm surprised you're up this early." kylie told kyla as she sat down on the couch beside her.

"i'm surprised too." she chuckled. there was a small silence, so kylie got up and turned the little dial on the small television to turn it on. the channels they got weren't the best but it was mainly for a little background noise anyways.

kylie never actually watched television this early in the morning but turns out, a really good show was on-- Bewitched!

"do you want me to make you a cup of coffee?" kylie felt generous. she was in a good mood, for no apparent reason.

"i mean, you don't hav-" kyla got cut off.

"i'll take that as a yes, and make you some anyways." kylie smiled. kyla got a little suspicious.

"why are you so smiley this morning?" kyla asked.

"am i not allowed to wake up in a good mood?" kylie replied back as she poured hot water into their mugs which contained the coffee mix.

"i'm not saying that, you just seem extra giddy, that's all." she said.

"i don't know really, i just feel good i guess." kylie continued to make their coffee.

"here ya go. be careful, it's hot." kylie handed the steaming mug to kyla.

"thank you."

they sat in silence, watching tv and sipping their coffee. there was some small talk here and there, but nothing serious. watching tv can really make it seem like time flies by. to their surprise, they heard alley walk into the bathroom and shut the door.

kylie and kyla gave each other a confused look, as they figured alley wouldn't have gotten up until around noon. it was only about ten o'clock.

they heard shuffling of feet coming down the short hallway.
