kylie woke up to the sound of music playing from the record player in the living room.
she felt a bit off, but it was only because she had slept in a lot longer than usual. she couldn't lie, it was probably one of the best sleeps of her life.

"what are they doing?" kylie mumbled to herself as she got up to use the bathroom.
she fixes herself before she went to the living room like she normally does every morning.

she yawned as she walked down the small hallway, "could you guys turn that do-" she stopped in her tracks as she saw george and paul sitting on the couch.

"uh, hi." kylie awkwardly waved and looked at them.

"oh, you're awake! we wanted to let you know about them coming but we didn't wanna be a bother." kyla chuckled.

"thats okay," kylie scratched the back of her head, "im gonna change real fast." she said as she hurried her way back into her room.

kylie had a burst of excitement rush through her. she found it crazy how someone could just make her feel this way.

"alright, I'm back." kylie smiled as she sat on a free space on the couch.

"welcome back." george looked at her.

"so, why are you guys here?" she asked the two of them.

"well," paul started as he sat up more straight, "we were wanting to invite you all to a fun little gathering at my place on friday." he smirked.

"and you guys came to our house to tell us that because...?" kylie trailed off.

"we thought we'd make it a proper invitation." paul said.

"I mean, I'm down." kylie agreed. she figured kyla and alley already decided to go too.

"sound great." paul smiled.

"sounds fantastic. we'll all have a grand time, I think." george added.
he was making it very difficult for kylie not to kiss him again.
george then made his way on the couch to sit next to her. was he doing this on purpose?

"hey george, is there any type of way you could get us any free ice cream by chance?" alley asked.

he chuckled, "I could probably get away with it, why not?" he gets up, grabbing kylie's hand along the way.

"kylie's coming with so she can help bring it back, right?" he grinned at her.

"y-yea, it'll be faster that way." she agreed.

they agreed on a flavor of ice cream that all of them liked, and the two of them went on their way.

"so, this party's gonna be pretty big huh?" kylie broke the silence as they walked.

"oh yea, pauls parties always get pretty mad." he said.

"thanks for inviting us." she gave him a small smile.

"you guys are the life of the party, of course." he winked.

after a while of walking, they made it to the ice cream shop. luckily it wasn't open and george had a key. they grabbed one of the tubs of chocolate ice cream and locked up before leaving.

"oh god, I can't wait until we get there to eat this." george said, as he stopped and opened the container. he stuck his pointer finger inside the ice cream and scooped some out.

"I know you want some." he reached over and dabbed ice cream on her nose.
she jokingly shoved him and also gave in to eating some.

there was a silence between the two, but a comfortable one.

"this woulda been good yesterday, huh?" george laughed.

"yea." kylie trailed off, "you know, I meant to talk to you about that by the way." she went on to say.

"which part?" he smirked. she had a feeling he knew, but it was better said aloud.

"I think you know which part." kylie fiddled with her fingers. it didn't seem like he was taking it very seriously, she was worried.

that's when he stopped in his tracks to look at her.
he caressed her cheek with his hand,

"i was hoping you'd bring it up." he smiled.

"me too." she said.

that's when he slowly leaned down and pecked her lips. her worries suddenly vanished.

"there is always a meaning behind my actions, angel. at least most of the time." that made both of them laugh.
kylie felt a lot better about it all. she truly felt like he meant it, and she sure as hell meant it too.

kylie pulled him in once more, kissing him more passionately this time. the taste of the sugary ice cream lingered on his lips.
they let go, and made their way back to the house hand in hand.

kylie still didn't exactly know what they were, but she was glad that he felt the same way at least.

the second they stepped through the door, alley snatched the ice cream tub from georges hands and got spoons from the kitchen drawer.

most of their day was spent messing around and enjoying each other's company.
george and kylie never seemed to keep their eyes and their minds off of each other.

"I also meant to ask earlier, where are the other two?" kyla turned to them.

"they wanted to stay and help prep for the party I guess." paul shrugged, not complaining.

"which as a matter of fact, we should probably head back before they spend all of their money." paul chuckled and rolled his eyes at the thought.

"alright, we'll come out to the car with you." alley suggested.

george and paul grabbed their things and the three girls followed behind them to the vehicle.

"thanks again for inviting us, we'll see you on friday." alley told paul.
he bent down and kissed her on the cheek.
"we're glad you're comin'" he added.

"thanks for the ice cream." alley told george as she walked back inside the house. kyla doing the same after she thanked them as well.

"I can't wait to see you again."george looked down at kylie.

"I can't wait either." she smiled.
george quickly pecked her lips, and got into the car. paul started to drive away when george shouted, "call me later!"

kylie felt her heart become warm as she made her inside.
now all that was left to do was wait to see him again, and have the feeling of butterflies swarm in her stomach once more.
